Hi,

after setting up a dev server with the newest SOTI V15 I could successfully enroll TC77, but this older one TC75 (Zebra/Symbol) is showing the following error

"Enrollment-failed". No Android Enterprise enrollment has been disabled.

How can I fix this?

Is there a way to "enable" it via Stagenow? I couldn't find any.

Thanks for your ideas.

Regards,

Benny

Hi Benjamin,

Thanks for posting your question!

In MobiControl Console, by default, under Global Settings > Servers the Android Plus Management option is set to  Android Enterprise Only.

The error generated on the device during enrollment is due to this default setting. To enroll your android device, you will need to change this setting by choosing the right option for you as shown below.

Please find the screenshots below to help you change the necessary settings as mentioned above:

1. go to Global Settings

2. Go to Servers tab, then click on the wrench in front of Android Plus Management

3. From the drop down menu, select OEM Specific for all Android Devices and press OK.

This should now allow your device to enroll without any error.

The TC75 running Android L will have to be managed using Device Administrator (DA) based management which SOTI refers to as Android+. You'll have to have a separate enrollment procedure for that device given that the Android O+ TC77 will require Android Enterprise. Despite being virtually identical in physical appearance the devices have to be enrolled, configured, and managed in very different ways.
