Is there a way to delete the 3rd-party app installed on the device using a profile (where the app package was added to the profile)? When I delete the device from SOTI, the app remains. I would like to know if it's possible to automatically delete the app after deleting the device.
1st: Which 3rd party app? The agent?
2nd: How was it installed? During enrollment (if itt's the agent)?
3rd: If my guesses are true: Wipe the device. If you have disabled that, re-enroll it to soti and then wipe it using soti befoire deleting it there.
optional: Start device in safe mode and wipe the device from there if not disabled.
It’s our own app, not the agent. It was installed through a profile where the app package was uploaded.
Generally speaking it should uninstall automatically when you enroll the device as part of default behavior.
It may not uninstall automatically however if you check this option in Package Builder (If the APK based Package was built using Package Builder)
Another reason it might not uninstall is if you've modified this option in the Profile assignment options when the Profile was first assigned.

When creating a .pcg package with either Package Studio utility or web-console UI in recent MobiControl versions, the default set-up for the option "Do Not Uninstall the File" for any file/folder added is disabled. Thus, when deleting or unenrolling a device, all deployed profiles (and files/folders with this "default "uninstall option within packages associated with the profile) will all be uninstalled.
