Android Enterprise on Lenovo Yoga Book. Couldn't find your Google Account

Hello.

I am trying to install Soti Agent on my Lenovo Yoga Book (Android 7). After the default recovery, when prompted to add a Google account, I am entering afw#mobicontrol and I receive the message "Couldn't find your Google account".

Why can this be?

Thanks in advance.

Is your device on a closed network or completely offline?  Or have your device been associated with a personal Google account by Factory-Reset Protection mechanism before you have it wiped (factory reset)?

According to the online AE device catalog at   https://androidenterprisepartners.withgoogle.com/device/#!/5973946851655680

Lenovo Yoga Book should be supported, but what you showed in your screenshot seems to indicate the device firmware does not support Android Enterprise Managed-Device Mode.  Have you tried enrolling in Android-Enterprise work-profile mode?

Hello Raymond.

Yes my device is online.

I previously had this device with my personal account, but I deleted it from "trusted devices" in my Google account.

How can I check if this device is "Factory-Reset Protected "?

Yes, I have try to enroll the device in Work Profile mode using Android-Enterprise agent. This works well.

"Factory-Reset Protection" is automatically turned on if your device has a google account added and a bootup/lockscreen password is enabled.  Any subsequent abnormal device factory reset will result in end-user being prompted for the google user account plus password during the initial device set-up after language & Wifi configurations.

As you said there is no problem getting the device enrolled to AE Work-Profile mode, the situation may not be that bad, though there are device models that only work in WP mode but not MD mode.  Have you tried enrolling the device to managed-device mode using QR code or NFC ?

May be :(

I am enrolling the device manually: Next, Next, Accept and when prompted to add a Google account, I am entering afw#mobicontrol. This device doesn't have NFC, but I will try to enroll it with QR-code.
