Incoming calls are not displayed

We are currently facing an issue where no phone calls go through when we activate the lockdown.

The phone itself is enabled on the lockdown and works, but incoming calls are not displayed.

We Use Zebra TC77 and TC78 with Android 14

SOTI MobiControl 2025.1

 

We've also tried everything and attempted to read and release the activity, but always without success.

Does anyone have an idea?

To resolve incoming calls not displaying on a device managed by SOTI MobiControl, you must adjust the device's profile settings within the SOTI MobiControl console. This is often caused by restrictive profiles, particularly those in Kiosk Mode or Lockdown Mode, that block notifications or the Phone app itself

These modes are designed to restrict a device to only approved apps and functions. You will need to specifically allow the Phone app and its notifications.

   Modify the Lockdown Profile:

    • In the SOTI MobiControl web console, navigate to the Profiles tab.
    • Select and edit the Lockdown or Kiosk Mode profile applied to the device.
    • Add the Phone App: Add the native phone application as an authorized item on the home screen. The package name for the phone application is typically com.android.dialer or com.samsung.android.dialer, depending on the device manufacturer.
    • Allow Notifications: To ensure the call screen appears, you must explicitly enable notifications. This may require adding a menu item with a script or URL like action://net.soti.mobicontrol.VIEW_NOTIFICATIONS to prompt the user to grant the SOTI MobiControl agent notification access.

   Adjust Call Restrictions:

    • Still within the device's profile settings, locate the Restrictions configuration and select Phone Calls.
    • If any incoming call restrictions are active, ensure they are configured correctly. Check if any "deny" lists are blocking incoming calls, especially if wildcards or specific numbers have been entered
