I am quite new to SOTI as a whole and i have set up the device using look up files but i cannot figure out how to hide the top taskbar. End users will of course enter this menu and select options.
any help is appreciated on this,
As you can see, top grey bar.
That is a configuration of the Telnet application itself and not of SOTI. You will have to create a working configuration for that application and then distribute it via SOTI however. Is that TelnetCE? If so you can create your configuration in the desktop configuration utility (including the full screen option you want) and then pull the updated .CAB from the Installation directory on your PC and then install that via SOTI on all the devices.

Yes, you have to specify a keystroke for it however. We usually configure it for Alt-O (Options) since there are already some native Alt key functions like Alt-T (terminate session), Alt-D (diagnostics) and Alt-P (properties).
