After upgrading Soti Mobicontrol to version 2025.0.2, stagenow enrollment of new TC77 (android 11) using barcodes stopped working. TC77 is connected to the network and is connected to the SOTI server. However, the stagenow process ends with an HTTP 404 error. The error is visible in the attached image. Please, what should I do?

Dobrý den, pane Vojči,

404 error is a standard error that the web page does not exist or the file is not found. In your case, you will need to check your StageNow profile to see what file and where it is trying to download from and verify that the file does exist at that address and is accessible from TC77.

However, if the device is connected to the Soti server, it is possible that the unavailability of that file is not affecting the enrollment process and that the error can be ignored.

Zdravím Vás,

Thank you for the quick response. The profiles were made for us by a supplier and we can't see what exactly is in the barcodes and where the specific files are stored on the server. I assume they are like BLOBs in the sql server. If they are somewhere in the file system, where can I look for them?

Thank you very much.

The supplier should tell you which server StageNow is downloading files from. It has nothing to do with SQL, it is probably a web server. It can be located basically anywhere - on the internal network or on the Internet. Using RXLogger/TCP Dump on TC77 you can try to find out what address the device is trying to connect to.

RXLogger and Wireshark on the server show the start of TCP communication between TC77 and the server on port 443. There is no IIS on the server, everything is handled by SOTI services. TC77 is connected to the server via APN and radius - only the internal network of the organization, no internet. If the installation packages on the server are supposed to be in the form of files, I found nothing. I searched for *.apk on the entire disk. The server is a W2022 with one disk C. From the pcapng logs I can see no more than that TC77 can call the server.
