Cannot remote controll Zebra TC53

Device is online and connected to MobiControl but I am unable to see the screen and remote control the device.

Hi Trent!

Do you have the Zebra plugin installed on the TC53? The newer Zebra devices like the TC53 do not require the Remote Control plugin any more and in fact you can have issues with Remote Control like this if it is installed on those devices.

I am unsure if i do or not. Where do I look for it and what is the name? 

In device details you find a "plugin version", if it's not using a plugin it's not shown.

Or look it up in the applications tab in the device details. On my TC51 the plugin is called "net.soti.mobicontrol.androidplus.zebra".

If a plugin is installed, you can easily uninstall it using a legacy script and that bundle ID.

I just checked and the plugin was being installed on your TC53. I added Filter Criteria to the plugin profile to exclude TC53 devices from the assignment and now RC is working on your device.

I just realized you have a TC53 and a TC53E. The Filter has been updated again to also exclude the TC53E from the plugin install as well.

Could you please explain what was the plugin and how did you uninstall it? I have the same issue and in Device > Applications tab I don't find anything named plugin or remote control services.

What was the script? I also have TC53!
