Black Screen when remoting into Samsung Android v10 Devices

I'm on the latest version of MobiControl.  When I remote into my tablets -- despite establishing a connection -- the browser only displays a black screen.  This is only happening on tablets with an operating system of Android version 10.  Interestingly if the tablet is connected to a Wifi network, I don't experience the problem.  However, as soon as the device is switched to an LTE data connection, the "black screen" issue comes up again.  I do not have any profiles disabling any kind of screen capture.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How many different models of Android 10 and non-Android-10 devices have you tested to come up with the conclusion that the problem is related to Android 10?

Were the device agent of your problematic devices consistently in connected state for other data-intensive operatons (e.g. .pcg package deployment, file-sync rule, etc.) when using LTE data connection?

What was the signal level of your LTE data connection?  Was it possible that the bandwidth of the LTE connection was too low?

Did you check if the device firmware has any app-permission or bandwidth-control for different connecion (Wifi vs Cellular) on o global or per-app basis?

Further to Raymond's comment, could you please confirm the following:

  • What version of SOTI MobiControl server and agent you are running on the device - any recent changes here?
  • What method of Remote Control you are using - have you tried using the latest version of SOTI Assist?
  • Are there any Firmware updates available for the device?
