Enrolling the Zebra RFID Reader Fx7500 Linux device in MobiControl

Steps to enrol Zebra Fx7500 RFID reader Linux device

• Create the Add device rule in MobiControl web console under which you want to enroll the RFID Reader.
• Download MCSetup.ini of Add device rule from MobiControl Web console. 
• Rename MCSetup.ini to pdb.ini.
• Place the pdb.ini in folder /mnt/data in Zebra Device
• Download the Linux OEM Specific agent from Link.
• Log in to Zebra Console of device.
• Browse the downloaded .deb file from Zebra console and install it.
• Start the application on Zebra console , you can also auto start the application.
• Wait for green status  against the MobiControl application. Try to refresh it after some time (30 second -1 minute). 
• Log out from Zebra Console
• Check the MobiControl Console and check -in

Note: To place the pdb.ini in device folder , you will need to transfer the file remotely to the folder location (use opensource applications such as WinSCP or FileZilla) 

Do not rename downloaded agent.

Once the device is enrolled , you can deploy the application, transfer the file , track the specific device data , health status from MobiControl.
