Does MobiControl support NFC enrollment for Android-Enterprise platform?

If so, what is the minimum server and device agent version needed?  Any limitation(s) on device brand or Android firmware version?   Is there any "admin app" to run on the administrator's device involved in the NFC bumping?  Any documentation on the enrollment procedure?   If not,  is there any roadmap to support it?

Device unenroll completed at console level but not at device level.

I have a device (Samsung TabE) that was un-enrolled from the console for the purpose of releasing the device back to the user but the un-enroll did not appear to happen completely at the device.  The device was online at the time the un-enroll action was sent.  It shows as un-enrolled in the console, but the tablet still has our custom kiosk screen active.  When exiting the kiosk screen and opening the MobiControl application on the tablet, it shows a status of "Enrolled" and "Disconnected".  The device is confirmed as having an active Internet connection. How can I get this device un-enrolled properly?  The user needs full access to the device as soon as possible to install their own applications for a govt mandate.

Devices stuck at "configuring google account" pending action Solved

Hi,  We have recently started staging a number of Android devices with Managed Google Play accounts, and today found that all of the devices were getting stuck for quite a long time at the pending action "configuring google account" phase of staging.  We have staged a handful of devices at a time before with the odd device struggling at that bit, but never have we had the entire lot grind to a halt!  Is this something people have seen before?

    Adding Phone number as ICE

Hi Is there a way we can add a phone number into Contacts of an Android Device and make it an emergency contact? Scenario I'm trying to cover off is where a user cannot remember their PIN on their device and they need to ring the Service Desk for a password reset. Or is it just going to be a case of issuing instructions to the users on how to do it themselves?

How to Disable Kiosk from Script in MobiControl Package

From the Console you can unlock a device from Kiosk Lockdown using the command "Notify Kiosk OFF" which allows you to unlock a device without having to enter the Admin Passcode from the device. The same command does not seem to have the same result when executed from a command script within a package.  Is there any such command to unlock a device that is locked down from a package script?

    Copy .apk in MCStudio Solved

Hi I want to copy, not install, an .apk-file with MCStudio. I've tried "Add Files" and "Add Android Apk". Both will try to install the .apk, not just copy it. I've also tried to copy it to something like %sdcard%\Download, but still the same result. Does MCStudio support copying .apk-files, like any other file, or is this something that has been overlooked? I could use a sync rule. But it's not the same as package deployment via profiles.

    Un-enroll multiple devices via script?

This Friday I'll have a situation where a large set of devices will need to be un-enrolled.  Is there a certain script for the un-enroll process for which I could run to run on an entire folder group instead of having to do each one individually?  I couldn't find anything in the script cmd doc but wanted to confirm. Thanks

    WiFi MAC address

Hello everybody, Is there a script with which we can find the WiFi MAC address of a device (or preferably a group of devices), without having to connect to WiFi? We're dealing with a large number of Zebra TC75x devices running on Android 6.0.1 which need to be updated to Android 7.1.2. To do that, we'd like MobiControl to push that OS update to them but only when the device is connected using WiFi (because of the large file size). Sadly, the devices are being kept in an area with highlt restricted WiFi access. A new WiFi access point will be setup, secured to only allow specific devices to be connected. It needs the WiFi MAC address to differentiate between devices. MobiControl has a column for MAC Address. But since a large number of devices has been staged using ethernet, and has never been connected to WiFi afterwards, the wrong MAC address is being shown. Is there a script that shows the WiFi MAC address, preferably of all enrolled devices? Can MobiControl tell the difference between an ethernet MAC address and a WiFi MAC address? How to prevent console users from accessing the Delete or Un-enroll options for a device? Solved

I can't seem to find a setting for this but I would imagine there would be one.  We have a general portal our customers have logins for to manage their devices for mostly remote control capabilities.  These users should have not have access to un-enroll a device from MobiControl.  That would give them wide-open access to the tablet with our SIM card in it.  Am I missing the setting to prevent non-admin users from performing this action? Thanks
