Hello, I have a server that works well in last year, but today, after I create a new profile, I can't assign this new, or one of existing profiles. It shows an error: The server could not complete your request. An internal server error occurred. My mobicontrol version is 15.5 On-Prem installation. Any idea how to solve this? Thanks.
I have a problem where I think that hasn't got a solution. I have a Samsung A53 mobile device with a lockdown profile enabled. This device was for pure testing but I've managed to Lockdown this device completley. Device is not manageable anymore from within SOTI * Device is in airplane mode. I've added a Sim card, but airplane mode is active..... * Authentication Password has been forgotten. * Option to Factory reset the device is disabled after a hard reset. Is there some kind of master Administrator password? I think I can only use the device as a doorstop now. Any ideas would be great.
I am trying to set chrome to use a Proxy Pac File URL. I am having a hard time finding documentation that actually makes sense. Has anyone actually configure a proxy pac file url for Chrome using the managed app config? I have tried this info. Network Settings (chromium.org). I have also tried something from some Tiny MDM documentation. just curious.

Hello, When our instanced was setup. I installed multiple plugins because I was trying to get our Kyocera DuraForce Pro 2's devices to work correctly. Unfortunately, this has now become an issue as now when I enroll these devices. It doesn't always download the correct plugin and it's causing a lot of issues. How can I remove these plugins from the instance and just keep the Kyocera Duraforce Pro 2 plugin? I have opend a ticket with support for this among other issues that I'm currently having, and they can't seem to answer my questions or this question specifically. Thanks for the help in advance..
Good Afternoon, We have a couple of cell phones in Soti where we have applied a lockdown profile. Problem is that the screen goes semi dark after 20 seconds and full dark after 30 seconds. Any idea on how to extend the uptime of the display time of our devices. Can't find any Restricion in Feature Control or Lockdown. Hi, I have implemented the method to import contacts onto our Android Zebra TC-56's outlined hereand it does work. I am wondering if there is a way to get around the prompt of "Do you want to import these contacts? Yes/Cancel". As I guarantee at least some users would hit cancel. I've tried sending intent commands, as well as scripts such as this: import_contacts_vcf and it does not seem to work. Is there a way to run the import command against Contacts.vcf without having to manually accept the prompt? Thanks!
Hello, I can't create an agent to enroll android devices because the option to add device doesn't appear
Hi all, two of my customers are currently facing the same issue and we have two support tickets open for them, with no solution yet. Does someone of you having the same issue? Both customers are on MC version 15.6.1 with the most up to date device agent, version 15.3.0. They are using Android 10 and 11 Zebra devices with different models. They are enrolled as fully managed deivces, Android Enterprise. They use different browser applications for accessing telnet and web applications. On some devices, after 15 to 60 minutes, a scan and input delay starts and the delay gets longer and longer. Starting with a few seconds, up to more than 20 secsonds. After a restart of the device, the browser or the MC agent, it seems to be gone. But, after the 15 to 60 minutes it starts again and is getting longer and longer. We are not able to figure out which devices are affected. Some device with the exact same configurations / OS / LGU / model are affected, some are not. It seems that it is not an application side issue because it happens in different applications with different backends. The input is delayed, no matter if we are scanning or typing on the keyboard. If anyone has similar experiences, feel free to share your thoughts. If I get an answer on one of the tickets, I will update. Thank you Felix
Is there a way to make the settings app invisible? The device gets stuck in a boot loop via an Application Run Controll and I don't want to set up a lockdown because we then have problems with company apps. Unfortunately, the function control does not work either. Users can also reset the device in user mode or change settings that I have deactivated via this.
Hello Guys, I have another question for you out there. I need to configure the APN settings for Samsung Tab Active 3 devices. As I saw it correctly in the logs it seems to be not possible over the profile. This message appears: "Feature is not supported (APN)". Is there another method to configure the APN? I have to do this for more then 500 devices.
For a customer with approx 50 - 100 Android devices planned in Soti Mobicontrol, we want to set set it up with a single touch (one barcode). The only issue is, all the devices schould have fixed ip adresses. Is there an option to manage this by scripts to set the Wireless settings and ip settings based on serialnumber for example.
