Hello, as this should be possible since Android Enterprise Agent 15.1.2, how to set it ? Even in MC 15.5 I cannot find a setting for it, nor in the help for a new script command or sendinfo parameter. I know I could do this with Zebra MX, XML File or OEMconfig, and have already done this in the past. Martin

Hi everyone, So recenty i am dealing with this issue when doing RC on my devices. Below is the screen shoot : I checked device log and clearly there is no other user start the RC session. Anyone experienced this issue too ? The message above told us to hold down CTRL key to terminate other session, but they method doesn't solve the issue. Most of the time i just restart the RC session until the RC started. Hope anyone can take a look and hopefully have a solution for this. Thanks, Randy Saputra
Hi All, We are starting to use Android for our Handheld barcode devices, at the moment Honeywell EDA61K, Unfortunately are the users complaining that the brightness not are high enought, so i would like to force the brightness to max at all time with Mobicontrol, Have anybody tried to do that, or can't point me in the direction. The devices are installed as Android Classic, and we already have a lockdown menu and programs installed through Mobicontrol on the devices, so perhaps it's only a script we need to add to the lockdown menu. How do I do that? Does deactivating the File Sync help already? Thank you
Hello, We have Galaxy Tab E's on Android 8.1 enrolled as a Work Managed Device. Agent version is: 15.1.1.1031 Basically we have a kiosk/lockdown and an app that is allowed on the main screen. The app contains links to PDF's (manuals) that we must allow users to view. However, upon pressing the link the notice pops up "Lock to app mode has been turned on" and it does not open. I tried adding Chrome to the approved apps in the lockdown, but that did not help. I did try changing lockdown to use Activity Suppression under Advanced Lockdown Settings, but then every tablet has to be manually added to permissions list which defeats the purpose. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Hello, I'm testing the new security rules for Andorid 11. I need to copy a Velocity .wldp file to a Zebra device. But, what if I need to place a new .wldep file there and delete the old file? Soti doesn't have access to the com.wavelink.velocity folder and a mxconfig command from stagenow to delete the file doesn’t work either. You can send a stagenow command that will delete the application user data from the device and it will remove the wldep files but it will remove the license as well. Has anyone found a better way to delete .wldep files from the application folder?
I am just setting up some new Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 devices, same model as devices we have used previously. The activation and profile etc add works perfectly. The initial file sync we have though is failing with the error "Insufficient free storage on device" - this is not the case, there is more than 45Gb free on the device (files to sync total <1Gb). File sync is basically pulling down some files from the server to a folder on the device, nothing fancy. It has worked on devices before. Any clues as to what the issue could be now?I can give any more info required if you ask.
Recently had a batch of Honeywell CK65's come in that were Android 10, up to this point we were using CK65's that were Android 9. It seems as though Honeywell has updated several internal components in the CK65's due to supply chain issues that don't allow you to downgrade to 9. So I'm looking to update all of our existing CK65's to 10. I did a file sync of 90.00.12 and the update went off without an issue.I came from 88.00.17 on my test unit. After the reboot, I noticed two issues.The first is that when I look at Applications under the device, they show as all of them being Uninstalled. With the one exception of the Honeywell UEMConnect software that's a mandatory installed application. The second is with the Native Lockdown mode. None of the applications will fire off.Until, I go into Administrative mode. If I just toggle between Administrative and then User. The applications will work. As soon as I reboot the device, the applications won't function until I bounce between Administrative mode and User mode. The two applications inparticular I've tested with are BasicTE and SmartTE(Staylinked). Android Agent version: 15.1.2.1075Honeywell Plugin version: 1.19.2.118
Hi. I have some Zebra TC26 enrolled on soti wich are running on kiosk mode. They show just one app (company core app) but I will like to add the app manual .pdf formated. If I add the line whit command file:// link appears but nothing happens. the only mode I´ve find was installing the reader onto main screen but i dislike. How I can call a pdf file from this screen? Hello, I've got a problem with the log-in on shared device. sometimes, I have to log in only with "username", sometimes it's nescessary to set the domain before the username, e.g "domain\username". The device is always connected to public internet, not to an internal wifi network. I don't know how to affect the credentials, is there a solution for that? BR

I reference this link in my text below. I encountered the same issue with my TC26:s recently (essentially the same device as TC21, but with WLAN). The remote screen is black, showing a digital clock and a lock. Sending notify kiosk off did disable the kiosk, but the remote control session did not show this - still black screen. While I did have issues with plugins, the mentioned scripts did not help. At first I was unable to start remote control at all. Web version was only white, legacy version said "Waiting for device" or similar. I had the plugin "RC Virtual Display" and no matter what I did it stayed like this. I had to assign the mentioned plugin to a profile, UNASSIGN IT, and then it worked - now I got "Zebra RC" plugin and remote session started working. However, I now face the black screen issue. To bypass the black screen I have to change the zoom level to Fit Screen, then send the Device Menu action from the RC interface. Now the screen is unlocked and I can view it as expected. Any ideas on how to fix this permanently? Other devices do not have this issue, only my TC26:s. Hi @all, we automatically issue client certificates for our WLAN authentication via SCEP. However, on Samsung's Android Enterprise devices (xCover 5 with Android 11), these certificates are only transferred and not installed. The certificates are only installed when a device password is set. Since the device password is unfortunately not an option, I am looking for a way to install the certificates automatically.
