Hi ecveryone! It's possible to chose show or hidden notification with a personalizate lockdown? In some devices, the users can't see notifications in the bar status when receive any massage or GHangout message, for example. It's possible to activate the notifications of any app by sending script to the Android device? Mobicontrol v13.4 Thanks!!

I'm having some major issues with Zebra TC77 devices, enrolled via AE, in lockdown mode, that immediately go into 'Airplane Mode' when a new data-only Verizon SIM card is placed into the device and powered on. The OS/Firmware build on each of the devices has been updated to 01-23-18.00-OG-U00-STD, which supposedly has a fix for a previously known issue with the TC77's doing exactly what I'm describing. Unfortunately, I'm finding this build may not have fixed the issue and I can't get around it to get this customers devices set up with mobile data and shipped back to him. If anyone here knows of a fix, please let me know. Thank you. Additional Information: - Every time I enter the go into admin password on the device to toggle Airplane Mode off, after a few seconds it turns right back on, and doesn't give the SIM card enough time to even register on the network, get whatever OTA updates it requires, and finally connect with mobile data. - The device recognizes it's a Verizon SIM card and uses the correct APN 'vzwinternet'...it just can't/won't connect - Running MobiControl 14.4.9 -
Hi, I need to configure Shared Device where is Microsoft Teams (and other Microsoft apps) installed in both groups. User1 will sign via AD to Group1 and sign to Microsoft Teams. Now I need wipe cache for Teams if the user is logged out from shared device because user2 will sign via AD to Group2 and he needs to sign to MS Teams with his account. When Users wants to sign in or sign out from agent we got an error message: Failed to remove personal information from device. Please contact your MobiControl administrator. So I need to send "Troubleshoot Shared Device" If this command is sent to the device user is logged in/logged out successfully. MC version: 15.1 Android 8.1 and 9 Model: Zebra TC52 (but I tested with Samsung too) Agent: 14.2.1.1083 Plugin: 1.6.0.102 Android Enterprise - Work Managed Clear managed application data when user logs out: Enabled Do you have the same problem or how can we solve it? Command: wipe application "package name" doesn't work. I've tested with many applications with the same result. Do you know if it's supported in latest version of agent? thanks
Is there an automated way to enable Google speech-to-text? Our customer is using Zebra TC57's (Android 8.1.0, OEM 01-23-18.00-OG-U09-STD) and both Gboard as Google speech-to-text was disabled for security reasons. Instead of Gboard they're using Zebra's Enterprise Keyboard. All's well except that they'd like speech-to-text back. Most of the devices are being used by truck drivers and they think it's better for them to talk to their devices instead of manually typing messages. Using Zebra's StageNow, I'm able to put the microphone key back into their Enterprise Keyboard. But it's not functioning with Google speech-to-text disabled. StageNow doesn't seem to offer a way to enable it, so I tried identify_activity through MobiControl (15.0.2.1049)(Android enterprise agent version 14.2.0.1069) but I can't seem to find the command to switch it on. Any ideas? What can I try?

HI, We are using Soti MobiControl (14.4.4.1045) to manage our M3 devices (SM10 and SM15). We install the Software over Soti (android plus). Now we try to test the new M3SL10 device. We Install the device the same way as the other M3 devices. We also use the same software profiles. The Agent connected with the Soti Server and we can manage the device in Soti. The problem we have is that the Installation of the profiles didn’t start. The status of the profiles is “Pending Install”.
I have a MobileDemand A1180 tablet running Android 9. When I try to remote into this tablet I get "Waiting for Screen" on legacy and just a blank screen on the web viewer. I have already tried the solution posted in this tread (https://discussions.soti.net/thread/android-9-0-stuck-on-waiting-for-screen-when-remoting-in/) but no luck. There is also another thread on this issue but it has no solution other than update your agent. I had this issue with SOTI V14.2, running Agent 14.1.7 and MobileDemand plugin version 1.16.10.121 This morning I upgraded to SOTI V15.1, updated the agent to 14.2.0.1069 and I am still having this issue. The tablet doe not prompt me for permission, and I even have the permission to remote in without permissions. Not sure what is causing this.
Hello SOTI-community, we have several hundred Honeywell CT 60 devices which are running a self-developed app. I would like to use the lockdown mode (Android Plus) to only let the colleagues access this very app. Unfortunately, when we roll out updates, there are two settings-popups which the users will have to manually allow and set (battery optimization and system settings access), because they can't be set via script. Since that is the case, I have to have the Settings enabled in lockdown mode as well (or the device will deadlock itself, because its awaiting input (allowing of permissions) the user is not able to give). Is it possible to have the settings enabled, but the shortcut hidden (so the users can't access the settings, but deal with the popups)? Or is there an option to allow battery optimization and system settings access via script? (I have already opened a SOTI helpdesk ticket, but we couldn't manage to get it done) Any help would be much appreciated. BR Dahin
We were hoping to use Custom Data for targeting our profiles to the devices. We are currently using Zebra TC57 and Casio IT-G400 devices. I have no issues reading the %sdcard%Settings.ini on a Zebra device, however the Casio doesn't seem to use this location. In the file manager I can see a sdcard folder, but it seems to reside under /internal storage/ . How would I go about finding a location for the settings file that will be available on both devices? Do you have a list of locations I can target using a macro, as I only know of %sdcard% at the moment?
Hi SOTI Support team I have some issue when I want to Update Agent in "Manage Android Agents and Plugin" I got error "Failed to send UpdateCompatibility Request" My Client Device is ZEBRA ET50 Android os 5.1 SOTI Agent version 14.x How to fix it and upgarde agent
Hi there, we've got a problem with a customer app and Android 10. Our Customer is using the IMEI of the device, to validate the usage of the app. With Android 9, the customer app had no problem requesting the IMEI directly from the device. Now with Android 10, there are some changes and the app don't got the needed permissions (link). The app needs the READ_PRIVILEGED_PHONE_STATE permission or have to be the device owner. As far as I know, I've got no possibility to set these permissions for this app through SOTI - or do I? Is there somebody who's familiar with this problem and got any workaround? Maybe requesting the IMEI from the MobiControl Agent? I'm not a developer so I could really need some help with this. MobiControl: v15.1 Agent: 14.2.0.1069 Device: Samsung Galaxy A40 EE (Android 10) Management Method: Android Enterprise, Fully Managed / Lockdown -> we are using Knox Configure and Knox Mobile Enrollment Thank you, Daniel
