Attempting to Upgrade MC9300 from Android 8 to Anroid 10 Using a UPL file

I'm updating MC9300 running Android * Lifeguard 41.  The security bulletin of Android 10 is September 5,2020.  The current security bulletin is Oct 5th, 2021.  To update without a factory reset I'm attemping to use a UPL file.   I'm using a data transfer rule, copying 4 files to the SDCARD folder. HE_FULL_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U00-STD-HEL-04.ZIP HE_DELTA_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U132-STD-HEL-04.ZIP A10PlusLG132.UPL Update_MC9300_A10_LG132.XML The content of the UPL file is package:HE_FULL_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U00-STD-HEL-04.ZIPpackage:HE_DELTA_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U132-STD-HEL-04.ZIPI'm using a post install script to call the XML file mxconfig /sdcard/Update_MC9300_A10_LG132.xml This is the content of the XML file <?xml version="1.0"?> -<wap-provisioningdoc> -<characteristic type="PowerMgr" version="8.1"> <parm value="10" name="ResetAction"/> -<characteristic type="file-details"> <parm value="/sdcard/A10PlusLG132.upl" name="ZipFile"/> </characteristic> </characteristic> </wap-provisioningdoc> Nothing happens after the files sync and when I try to run the script manually it shows Custom log (Mxconfig - /sdcard/Update_MC9300_A10_LG132.xml processed successAnd idea on what I'm doing wrong?

Is there an issue with Android Enterprise Work Managed Enrolment?

Hi, I've been trying to setup a couple of devices using the afw#mobicontrol (Zebra TC26 and TC57) over the last couple of days. Setup as normal, used afw#mobicontrol after factory reset (tried a few times on each device), it gets to the option to install mobicontrol, starts downloading, then flicks to a black screen, and then when trying to continue through, just get 'couldn't connect - try again using another network. If you continue without a connection you can finish some setup steps later' only way I can get past this it to skip, then I get into android, play store is broken as I guess the afw#mobicontrol didn't setup properly, and all apps are visible (most get hidden with Enterprise enrolment) It's obviously not our Mobicontrol as we don't get as far as entering an enrolment ID, and the only way to start the process again is to factory reset which gets the same outcome Thanks Alan

Hello, i want to try to build an app based for mobicontrol console using the soti snap. Inside the app, there is a login function. For this function, people who login to this app is the admin or user using their mobicontrol account. So they don't need to create another account in order to login the app and get the devices information from MobiControl. I have plan to using the MobiControl API. But, i have no idea which API should i use to authentication. Anyone can help me?Thanks

Android 11 - Enterprise enrollment does not complete

On the OOBE (out of box experience), we entered afw#mobicontrol but are never prompted for our tenant code.  Setup continued, which we skipped most of - afterwards it says "account action required" and it prompts to sign in with "Android Enterprise" entered in the email or phone field.  I cannot change "Android Enterprise" value.   I have reset the device twice with same results.

Im talking about making 300 geofences and one alert of get in and other one of get out to/from a geofence (around 600 alerts) I have tried to search for information and I have not seen anything. The geofences and alerts should be done manually, right? Thank you!

Ability for application to determine logged in user - Shared Devices

Every time a user signs into the device and is assigned a profile with our application, we'd like to set the username automatically based on the shared device credentials. Currently, the app is installed through a package and not a managed app. Is this possible through the managed configurations? Using Android Enterprise & Samsung S10s/S20s.

Google Play Using Large Amounts of Data

Hello, At my company we are upgrading to Samsung Tab Active 3s on Android 12 enrolled as Android Enterprise.  As of late, I've noticed a large amount of data consumption on these tablets.  The issue is that we are on a limited monthly plan (1Gb a month) delivered by a hotspot we connect to via wifi and I've already had four tablets deplete the data due to Google Play activity (so a month's worth in 6 days or less). I have disabled updates to apps via Google Play via feature control, which appears to be effective.  I initially thought this was based on the updates being sent by Samsung to update the OS but I can see that the data consumed there is listed separately.  I contacted support and they suggested disabling background data, which has helped, but Google Play still used 276Mb just yesterday.  I'm unable to figure out what is causing the amount of data consumption and am not used to this behavior as the majority of my fleet is using older Tab A T-350s on Android 6.0.1. Is there a way to see what Google Play is doing that is causing the data usage to be so elevated? If you have any ideas for me to try out or need more information to assist, please let me know. Perhaps this data consumption should be expected on newer devices and I should look into increasing the amount of data purchased per month, although I'd like to avoid that if possible.  Thanks!
