Hi I have upgraded to the latest version and also moved the install to a new server while doing so. When I am restarting the Mobicontrol Search Service it is giving me the error A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not respind aftet the period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 10.1.0.27:9200 The IP address it states 10.1.0.27 is the IP of the old server. How can I change this to point to the new one?
Hi, one of our clients wants to be able to deploy APN settings to their TC26 (with Android 10) devices using Soti. They are getting the error "Feature is not supported(APN)" when trying to deploy this setting to a device of this type, but if they try to do the same thing for a Lenovo tablet which also runs Android 10, it works. Has anyone seen anything similar?
In the input field by default the Google on-screen keyboard always pops up as alpha numeric. Is it possible to change the Default on-screen keyboard to Numeric keyboard only so that the users don't need to change it manually?

Hi I am using the Dynamic Lockdown in SOTI 15.5.1We have TC52x devices (Android 11) and we want the user to be able to access "Zebra Volume Controls" to set the scanner beep volume. When you press volume control, a button appear, and if you click that you can access these settings.But the lockdown semes to block the "Zebra Volume Controls".To solve it I can place a “dummy app” in the lockscreen containing the activity name: “com.zebra.zebravolumecontrol3/.ZVCPanelActivity”.Then it works to access this menu in lockscreen.But I wish to hide this “dummy app” in the lockdown screen. If we rollout apps from Managed Google Play Store to android devices, many apps support “Managed App Configs”. This is really cool. But we want to deploy critical Apps via packages. We have the apk of the apps. But in the packages, we can not configure the managed app configs. My questions, is it possible to add the managed app configurations, via xml file and the soti package studio? Or will it be an options in the “packages” section in the profiles to configure the existing managed app configurations of the app? Thank you for Help
As the title suggests, has this option worked for anyone and how exactly? I wanted to use this option for cleaning up update files on devices but i never got it to work properly.
Hi, I am playing with the dynamic template in hopes of coming up with a solution to resolve an issue we are having with kiosks at the moment. We are actively migrating our devices from one version of our application to a newer release which have different package IDs. It's become very cumbersome to build and maintain 2 different profiles per customer device grouping and swapping them once we know an app has been updated. If the profile swap doesn't happen or if we don't know a customer has migrated apps, they will then have a kiosk with no apps present until someone manually unassigns/assigns the profiles properly. I was hoping to utilize the dynamic HTML template and tweek it where I could add both application package IDs into the lockdown and the template would only display a link to an app if it actually exists on the device. I wasn't sure if anyone had experimented with a similar solution or had any other ideas. Thanks
We have Samsung tablets from AT&T that are running Android 11 UI 3.1. I thought there was supposed to be a setting under Settings -> Connections -> Data Usage -> Mobile Data Only Apps to force an app to only use mobile data. Is there any other way of making an app only use mobile data while it is on a WIFI network?

Hi all together, we are planning to upgrade our MobiControl environment to version 15.5.2 and would like to use the new feature "Conditional Access" for our O365 applications. I am asking myself, what happens with COPE enrolled devices (or BYOD devices) which both contain a work profile and a personal space. After synchronizing the device details to Azure, will a user be allowed to connect to O365 from his personal profile? Does anybody know?
