Our company is moving all of our on premise Windows Servers to Azure. What do I need to know before we move our SOTI Mobicontrol Windows server to Azure?
Hi, I have a odd new issue on our MobiControl server related to enrollment. We use version: 13.4.0.4167 The issues is that we cannot enroll new devices as the process does not complete on the client side. We have tried both Android Enterprise (afw#mobicontrol + QR code) and Android Plus. The devices does pop up in mobicontrol, but the install is not completed on the devices - therefore they kind of errors with a re-try option and in the end you come back to the page asking for Enrollment ID. Not sure how to fix this, as it suddently occured this morning. Anyone experienced something similar and what did you do to fix this? /Dan
Hi, We are on MobiControl v. 13.4.0.4167. We have lately experienced that the nightly maintaince (we believe it is that as this starts from midnight) are using 100 % CPU power for some hours (up to 6 hours). How do we get more information about what is causing this high level of CPU processing for an extensive period of time. Has somebody else experienced the same and found a solution? Hi All, I am facing an issue after upgrading to v14. Devices with OS as Windows Embedded CE 6.0 are trying to connect to the deployment server but they are getting reset and not showing up on the Management Console. Below is the log for the same. We have multiple Android devices, in KIOSK mode, each which we can enable/disable from the MobiControl panel using the _adminmode on/off This requires that the android device have access to the internet.My question then goes on, would it be possible that, through our on android app, that we could enable/disable the KIOSK mode? Lets say we have a simple app with Admin On/Off, using the slider, it would invoke the MobiControl app, telling it to enable or disable KIOSK mode, just as the MobiControl site, sending scripts to the device.Thanks in advance.
Hello, Recently we've been seeing S10e devices enrolled in MobiControl are rebooting into recovery and not allowing the phone to boot without doing a factory reset. Are there any known issues with the S10e and MobiControl? Or any solutions to this problem?
Hello Can you help me. My company has developed a delivery app deployed oncustomer sites with SOTI. Our application is not able to "dicuss" with Waze to send a delivery adress that WAZE must open to provide the best way to driver. Question : is there any sandbox feature implemented in SOTI MC ? Currently using MobiControl version 14.3.3.1111 where we have some custom data setup for the devices. Around half of the devices do not show custom data and I am wanting to search just for these. However there is no search parameter for "Is Blank", "IsNull" or similar. Is there a way to search for these devices that anyone is aware of please? Thanks all
Hello, We would like to retrieve some device information via the MobiControl API but can't find a related request. 1. Real time location of the device We could create a data collection rule then retrieve data via the request : GET /devices/collectedData But we hope there is a more direct and less restrictive way to retrieve this information. 2. System date and time Also, is there a method to find out the time of the lastest device reboot ? Hello all, I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to have soti send an alert when a specific amount of devices are seen going offline? Or maybe something that would give me a similar scope of devices going offline. Reason being, a few weeks ago we had an issue where our cellular network went down but didn't have anyone report it until the dead of night during a night shift. So, just looking for ways to be proactive for the future. Thanks in advance for any tips!
Hey, i was once playing with the sheduled actions to deplay a profile (lockdown) at a specific time (daily). Now i am playing again with the custom shedule. The lockdown gets deployed at the specific timei set. For my test i set a time window of 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes it should leave the lockdown. But the profilegot revoked not after 15 minutes but after 40 minutes. So does it mean that the profile must be active for at least 40 minutes? Here is a screenshot of my configuration: Also the shedule does not work always. Sometimes it is just ignoring the time and does not activate the profile on the device.I am also using UTC time to get it work.
