We currently use RemCapture to get a base and difference when updating handhelds and update the handhelds flash memory so if the handheld loses power (battery removed) or is hard reset it keeps the last update. Is there a way to do this with Soti?
Hi there, maybe someone can help me, i think i'm only looking around the setting i'm looking for. I want to set up a Usergroup for our Helpdesk, thats easy. But they should see the profiles when open device information, but none is displayed. Which right do i have to be set, so they can see it?
Hello,I'm trying to firmware update a Honeywell EDA51 (android 8.1) with a package.Ofcourse I don't want to loop this so I thought i'd do the following: Post install: md /sdcard/updatecompleted/reset Pre-install: if exist /sdcard/updatecompleted/ finishpkgSadly console already tells me that "if" command is not supported by this device. Is there a way to do this with javascript perhaps?I couldn't really find what I was looking for on the Soti javascript API site.However I must admit that I have 0 knowledge of Javascript so most of it is still abrakadabra to me.
Hello, we have a mobicontrol on version v 13.3.34 54 and of course we migrate (device are zebra TC75X android 7.1 Enroll type android +) We have made a backup of the database of mobicontrol install it on a new server. Actually, we made the upgrade on a test server with the version of mobicontrol 14.4.49 all port are open of course and 80% of my test are Ok. This is the good new :). But I don't know why but for some device ALWATS Zebra TC75X android 7.1 when i try to enroll it , i have an error message I type the URL or enrollmentId in the client of mobicontrol (zebra TC75X) and I have an standard error -> contact your admin system .. mobicontrol Client on device are on version 13 6 1476 In the log file of DSE I have this : [2020-09-10 11:00:06.311] ERROR [General] (20): Unable to locate device with id '100002119'. We have an on premise server running MobiControl version 14.1 with our android devices running device agent versions 13.5.0.1677 We are looking to upgrade our server software version to 15.1. Is the android device agent version compatible with this version of MobiControl?

Hi. I created a device groups tree and attached a few policies in specific groups. If there is many different groups with some policies in them it can be hard to keep track of them... Is there an easy way to see what policies there are in a specific group? As far as I can see I have to look on a specific device in the group to find out what policies has been pushed out.

Hello everyone, I come to you as so far, we can't find a way to solve our problem. The situation is this one, we got a bunch of Datalogic Memor 10 to be deployed soon , but got a huge bug with it. So far, without any reason our device will turn into Airplane mode. All of them are on Android 8.1, and basically we can't upgrade them to 9.0 due ton some compatibilty test. So, question is this. I saw in Mobicontrol the possibility to turn off the airplane mode setting but only for Android 9.0 devices, so can't be used. So i tried to find a bypass for this problem and ran into the "Out of contact" setting that can be set into profile. Seems that this one is a good way to bypass the problem, as when device should get out of connection with server, it will run a script. I tried a simple script, to turn wifi On. , it worked when directly sent to device setradioenable wifi 1 But when added to the "out of contact" , it's seems that the script never execute itself. I've tried "manually" to activate wifi when airplane mode is on and it work, same as execute the script manually on a device with wifi turned off. So...maybe i don't get the point of the 'out of contact" setting ? or maybe you guys, got another way to solve this problem? Thanks for the reading, and hope you could help. Steeve.
Hello, Just started using soti mobicontrol on premise. Have 3 devices and observing something not right with profile push. 1. Device model Cipherlab RS50 - 3 devices enrolled successfully 2. 2 of the devices got profile pushed OK (screen lock and application) 3. Last device after enrollment doesnt get the profile. I changed the installation type to self service and see install button grayed out on the device.. Where as in profile details it basically says that it's not installed on any device. Anywhere specific I should look to? MobiControl version is 15.2. Running trial key for 10 devices, getting licenses soon. Thank you in advance.
Hi! The next days we would like to upgrade from MC 14.4.1 to 15.2. We are running some Android devices with MC Agent version 13.7.x. After upgrading: What will happen to these devices? Are they still manageable or are they forced to install a higher version of MC agent? Does anybody know? Thank you!
With the drive over apps, modify system settings etc that you can choose when creating a rule for Android phones. If i choose no for all of the ones on there Select the permissions to be granted at Enrollment Does this mean they will automatically be granted ?
Hi, we have a problem with a lockdown at our Samsung Android 10 devices. I want to open the phone app, so the employees are able to call numbers, which is working fine. The only thing that doesn't work is dialing numbers. As soon I want to dial and press the "dial" button the number disappears and that's it. I don't see any error in the configuration so far, see attached screenshots. Does anyone have any idea about this issue? Thanks in advance,
Hello, has someone already experience with the new Version 14.3.3.1004 of the AE Agent ? It is offered since some days in the MobiControl Agent Updates, but in the online release notes there is still just the 14.3.2.1050 Version available. Till now I found one new feature, on Zebra Android 8 and up Devices it displayed the MX version in Device Details, already before the Zebra Device Plugin is installed. GreetingsMartin
