is there a way to have an audio alert for the messages sent from the Soti console? i have some departments this would be really handy for, but will be useless if they don't see the alert until the go to use the device. i've tried with multiple options in the "send message" field and all come through silent
I keep getting this error after remotely connecting to a device it connects and I can work on the device but a few minutes into working this error pops up. is there any way to fix this??

Hello, We've got a customer with Android 5.1.1 and Android 9 Samsung Galaxy Tab Active or Tab Active2-tablets and we're having a lot of trouble with a certain network provider abroad. The tablets automatically choose this provider (roaming is active) since it seems to have the best coverage, yet certain connections will still get blocked. Calling and sending text messages works perfectly fine, but sending simple .gif files through our own application already proves to be difficult. Sadly, MobiControl will lose all connectivity. Our own current provider can't do much to help, other than to keep complaining to the foreign provider. We've changed our own application to withhold certain files until a different network is chosen, but with users spending a lot of time in this country this isn't a truly viable option. These tablets are running in Lockdown mode and the users aren't permitted to change other settings than the MobiControl Settings Manager has to offer (volumes, display, bluetooth, wifi). But, if they were able to alter settings, they'd be able to manually forcefully change the active network to whatever else there's in range. As soon as a different network is chosen, all connectivity restores. Now, my question to you: Do you know of any shortcut or intent with which we can add a button to the lockdown screen which in turn leads to the option to manually select a network? I'm running into some troubles when attempting to add a device to Device Enrollment Program using Apple Configurator. For my Server preference, I have used an Enrollment URL that matches the Enrollment URL from an iOS Add Devices rule in our MobiControl instance. Note that this URL is for one of our deployment servers, which faces the public internet. This url looks like https://public-host-name/Enroll/241. Note that our management server is not publicly accessible. When I prepare the device using Apple Configurator, I select the "Add to Device Enrollment Program" and "Allow devices to pair with other computers" options. I then choose this Server, choose a previously set up Organization, use the default options for iOS Setup Assistant, and select a verified WiFi configuration. The preparation step is failing with the following error: Provisional Enrollment failed. The cloud configuration server could not be verified. [MCCloudConfigErrorDomain - 0x80EF (33007)] I haven't been about the discover a solution from others who have experienced this error message. These are new iOS devices so they are not members of another DEP account. Any ideas? Is the URL for the Server configured correctly? Thanks in advance... Steve...
Hello everyone! I'm having problems enrolling devices in my MobiControl server, the kind of devices I'm enrolling is: Android Plus. Without Google Account. Models are: Samsung G532M, G532MT, J320M. After they are enrolled to the server, they're agent are not compatible with my actual version of MobiControl, even after I checked the version that has been configured with the device add rule. How can I fix this?
This was working but now I'm unable to run a report. We have a cloud service and are using v13.4. I saw on an ealier thread that someone else had the same problem and it was an MS-SQL package issue. As we're using the cloud version we don't have access to the server in that way. Can anyone assist?
Hi, I manged to create 16 different web apps, but when i try to create anymore i get the error: "An error occurred while saving the app. Please ensure that your image is a png or jpg (ideally 512px square) and try again." Just a note i didn't upload any image, so that part of the error can be ignored. IS there a limit to how many web apps you can create? Regards, Luke
I am trying to set up Mandatory Files in SOTI Hub. I am using OneDrive as the repository. I want to make everything that I have on OneDrive mandatory so it will automatically be downloaded on the devices. I have enabled File Fetch, which should do what I am looking for. Under the Files and Folders section, I have added the main folder that everything is in, under the Path section. For type, I have Folder selected. I save it all, then force a check in. On SOTI Hub, under Mandatory Content, I see the folder, but there are no files or folders inside it. When I try to refresh, it says "Mandatory Files Sync Failed. View Event logs for details." When I go to Event logs, it doesn't actually give me any details, so that's useless (see below). Has anyone else run into this issue? Thank you. Ryan
