Hi,We are in charge of preparing equipment for one of our customers. The Soti console is a "On Premise" version. Our configuration service therefore don't have access to the customer's network during preparation. We deliver the devices directly to the end user and we would like the device to be delivered with the kiosk or lockdown. Can we load the kiosk onto a device by copying files without establishing a communication with the console?Thx for you help.
Hello all My first post. I want to pair BT headset though NFC pad on terminals with a kiosk lockdown and the 3 notifications - Confirmation of pairing on terminal - Validation of association - access to calls history and contacts aren't displayed Is there a way to permit theses notifications to be display or that bluetooth pairing is done without confirmation ? If someone could help me :) Regards
Hello Everybody, We are running our MobiControl on a version14, and want to upgrade. This is currently not possible as we are on an old server and old ms sql database version. So what i need to do is move everything to a new server, Management, Deploy and Database. So my question is, how do i do this ? I have asked support, but they have no documentation nor provide support for this specific scenario. What i have tried. - Setup new server, install new ms sql database on the same server. - Backed up the database and moved to the new server. - Installed latest MobiControl Version software - Ran the "MobiControl Administration Utility" and changed the server name where i could see it needed. - - Tested all in "MobiControl Administration Utility" and everything is green. Now with in the newly install MobiControl the interface looks okay, BUT in the global settings it still shows the old deployment server and management server in the list. hey everyone, ever since upgrading our SOTI to a newer version, the device profiles that we assign to our tablets will not load unless i revoke it and reinstall it. it seems the profile will get about halfway installed and then it sits there and takes a while. i have also noticed that the agent will not stay connected. the devices we are using are Samsung Tab A's with verizon and ATT

So i have this requirement from my Client. They have devices that used by the employee, and the company give cellular data allowance for the devices. IF the devices connected to cellular data (either 3G or 4G) the devices can only acces certain apps and can't browse the internet at all. IF the devices connected to WiFi, the devices can acces all apps available and browse the internet freely. I think we should use Data Event configuration to fulfill this requirement ? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

My customer is having problems adjusting display brightness with Soti Settings Manager on their Samsung Xcover 3 and 4. I have created a profile for them with a lockdown enabling status bar expansion but disabling settings changes. Package Blocking and Samsung Package Disabling are off. The profile also has a Feature Control with a only a few settings set, none of which are relevant to display or settings. Finally the profile has a Settings Manager configuration allowing all settings changes. The only way I can enable changing display brightness is by allowing settings changes, but then I would have to disable status bar expansion to prevent tampering with network settings by the end user. This is not an option. But shouldn't Soti Settings Manager bypass this setting and be allowed to change display settings? My Mobicontrol server is 14.4.1.1195 Agent version on my test Xcover 4 is 13.8.0 1047 (ELM) Settings manager is 14.3.4 Build132
With Android Enterprise Device Owner enrollment you can end up in a situation where a number of system applications are disabled by default. There are enrollment Extras that you can include in a NFC chip or custom QR code to leave all system apps enabled but if they device has already been enrolled is appears that you have to use the enable_system_app script in order to re-enable the apps individually. Is there an alternative to individually re-enabling system apps such as using a wild card? eg: enable_system_app * enable_system_app com.zebra.*
On a TC52 enrolled as Android Enterprise in Device Owner mode how do I enable ADB debugging for development and troubleshooting? It is turned on within the UI. Settings > System > Developer Options > USB debugging. I have also tried using the MX USB Manager to turn on UsbModuleUsage" value="1" />UsbADBUsage" value="1" />UsbAllAccessDeviceStorageUsage" value="1" /> When I plug the the TC52 into my PC there is no acknowledgement and using the adb devices command shows no devices connected.
