Hi, I need to deploy a new Samsung device agent version to all of our new devices going out. How do I go about changing the version of Android device agent that's attached to an add devices rule? I can't seem to find this anywhere. As a follow-up question, is there any cross-reference document of supported device versions per server version?
Hi All, we are using the SOTI Lockdown Screen with the status bar disabled. We are looking forward to also hide the status bar in order to make the hole screen a little bit prettier. The question is can we show the Information of Battery Status, Wifi-Status and Time display on the Screen without an extreme effort? Would be great if you could give me a short hint on how to do this. Thanks, Steve
Hi! I have looked at the different posts about this and also in the documentation and the scripts documentation. I can´t seem to find information about the specific 90 days block that by all the information given by Google and SOTI, should be able to be deployed to the devices running as a Work Managed Device. Is this sent with the set_system_update_policy command or a FeatureControl script command? And is there any way of checking how many days left on the block?

Hi All, Wondering if anyone else has this odd problem I noticed this week. In this example I have two lockdown profiles. One is across the bulk of my estate but I have a new one with extra functionality that I am rolling out in a staggered manner. (for pilots and whatnot). In order to control that activity i started to use a custom attribute and I set the new profile to apply with the filter criteria myAttrib = "new" and i update the main profile's criteria to myAttrib does not contain "new" That worked for a while and for a small number of our stores I could just update the attribute at the Device Group level and all the devices in that store would switch profiles. For main rollout I decided to be clever and use a boolean value as my custom attribute instead. This way I should just scroll through my device groups and click the tickbox to mark as true instead of having to type. (my 13.4 version of mobicontrol doesn't let me set attributes to groups using API, well annoying!). Now to the problem (for those still reading) - my new profile applies with the criteria myAttrib = true, but the main profile DOES NOT apply with the criteria myAttrib = false !! This doesn't make any sense to me, I would assume that a boolean attribute unticked must equal false - so therefore device i didn't tick should have that profile, but it literally removed itself from over 6000 devices (which seeing as it was a kiosk mode profile, was officially a BAD THING). Am I misunderstanding something fundimental here, does anyone else using booleans in filter criteria have this issue?

Hello all, I am having an issue that I can't quite seem to figure out. We have a Progressive Web App (PWA) running inside of SOTI Surf that is accessing the tablets camera in order to scan barcodes. When the page comes up, the camera is shown but inside the "Select Camera" dropdown list, it shows (no Permission). Since the Camera was showing, I didn't think much of it. After about a week of just letting the device sit idle, I go to launch the page and where the camera box would normally be, there is a gray box with an X in it like it won't load. Any idea why this is happening? I originally thought it was permissions inside of SOTI Surf but I'm not so sure about that now.
Good afternoon everyone, We have run into a pickle here where we have some phone get locked out through the Samsung Knox Workspace app that is "Build-in" for the Samsung Galaxy S7's. The only way to fix the issue is to wipe the phones through Mobicontrol and start over. I have tried removing the permissions from the App from being able to "Appear on Top" and "Can change system settings". I would rather be able to blacklist this app completely if possible. Has anyone had any experience with this occurring on their Samsung devices? We are using Version: 14.2.2.1170 for MobiControl and the Galaxy S7's are using the latest security patch form March 1, 2019.
Agent version: 13.6.0.1114 Remote control version 1.11.0.102 OS: Android 9 Samsung S8, new OOTB So when I attempt to remote in, it stays here forever. I've wiped the device, reinstalled Mobicontrol, and all permissions requested by Mobicontrol were granted. Ideas?
A customer has Mobi Control installed locally running 12.1.0 but needs to support Android 4.2.1, running on an SBS2011 server. Bing maps has stopped working - what version can they upgrade to so they can continue with 4.2.1 TC55 devices, and not need SQL Server or a new SBS server / equivalent. Or can they run a later version on SQL Express?

Hi! We have configured the SOTI Surf on several devices but after an upgrade of the MobiControl Agent to one of the latest versions, we got problems with using SOTI Surf. The application won't get past the splash screen but it will also start flickering and head back to the lockdown instead. This seems to be some kind of problems with a permission?? Devices used in this case are Zebra ET50 and enrolled as Android Enterprise Managed Device, and we are installing the application with StageNow XML instead through Google Play or package deployment.
