Hi, I use MobiControl 14.3.1.1189 on premise and I created an Managed Enterprise and also added this to our enrollment rule. On the device I get the pending action to add an account, but if I click on the entry, nothing happens and in the logs I can see the following message: "Error message received from device (Managed Google Play Account Status:'EMPTY_TOKEN')"

I just enrolled 1 Zebra TC52 (DO) with google enterprise profile. I have created a configuration profile to install an apk. Is there any option to force apk installation without the need for user to accept installation ? thx. steve

Hi, We have 700+ devices (M3 SM10LTE) and we want to force them to work only on 2G-3G bands. Our couriers complaints that over the day the data connection (mobile data) is lost quite often and they have to restart the scanner or put it on the airplane mode. I tend to think the problem happens when the scanner switches between 3G and 4G bands and vice versa. Can we do something to force them to work like this; a script or something? Thanks in advance!

Hi, New to Mobi Control so maybe asking silly question We have 60+ Android devices which have Mobi control on them. The apps installed are all configured with Install Updates automatically, yet we have a couple of applications that have not updated to the latest version. Is there anyway which we can force these applications to update to the latest version. I have looked through this forum and the best answer I can see is to create another package and apply to a profile, But this seems silly as nothing will be modified in the package. TIA
I have started to notice the shellexecute script no longer works on Android Plus devices and this was a necessary script for multiple reasons. The old script that was being used was as follows: shellexecute chmod 777 /enterprise/usr/enterprisehomescreen.xml I have also tried the following: shell_execute chmod 777 /enterprise/usr/enterprisehomescreen.xml _chmod 777 /enterprise/usr/enterprisehomescreen.xml This command is used whenever SOTI pushes a file to a device to make sure the permissions are correct. Without it other applications that read the file do not work correctly.
Hello everyone,we currently have a problem with our devices and the google play store.When we enroll our devices we manually enter a google account. It is the same for every device.At first everything works fine and we can install the necessary apps out of the play store.After a while (not a set amount of time) you need to login again with the google account.When trying to login this time though it does not work. After "Checking info" it says:There was a problem communicating with Google servers.I analyzed the problem with our network department.There is no traffic at all when trying to connect to the google servers. The connection seems to be blocked by the device.Other Websites and apps work fine though and the traffic is visible.When using a different wifi the google login works again.In our company Wifi we use PEAP with MSCHAPV2 as second phase authentication.Furthermore we use a proxy with an auto config file.Is there any setting I could have missed or is this a problem anyone of you had before?Some further infos:Devices: Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with Android+ profilesMobicontrol: 14.2.0.2894Thanks for the help
After uploading files from a group of devices to server (into %DEVICEID% subfolder), is there a way to download all those files together (instead of one-by-one)?
I am unable to get the Legacy plug In to work so I was instructed to install MOBIAssist. With the legacy plugin for Remote Control I was able to drag and drop files to and from the terminal. Using the file explorer tool. With MOBIAssist if I select file I am able to download files from the device by clicking on them, however it doesnt appear as ift here is a way to Upload files. Please advice as to what I am missing.
I'm using a Zebra TC70X connected to soti with Android Enterprise. When a profile with Kiosk Mode is put on the device the status bar at the top is no longer visible. The disable status bar is NOT checked in features (I have tried a profile with no features at all as well), and under kiosk mode advanced the disable status bar expansion is NOT checked. I have tried the default template with nothing else on the device (right from factory default). Even when apps are launched there is no status bar showing. The device is in a folder with nothing else assigned. MobiControl 14.1.4.1693 Any ideas?
Hi @all We are testing SOTI Mobicontrol at the moment, we'd like to install and configure Zebra Android hand scanners. The main app used on the scanners is the "warehousing-Dynamics 365 App we'd like to install and configure using the SOTI Product Installing the app works, however we still don't know how to configure it, means submitting the values for Client ID, Client Key etc. These values are known and static for us, so how can we fill in the configuration automatically ? We've found a Hint in the manual that we can enter a "URI" in the advanced options of the "edit application catalogue entry but we do not know how to specify this or what is the intended method for this. Anybody know how to solve this ? Kind regards Till
Hi,My organization have Zebra TC 75 units that up until now have been maintained manually. I have installed Soti on them and created rules to install our applications. When we got a new unit I found out that the model that we have bouht is without Google Play Store and that we probably have installed a Google Maps apk on the units before. Is there a way to install app store apps on a unit without Google Play or do we need to install the firmware with google play on?We have some Android Enterprise TC77. There we have created managed apps and they install fine on the TC77 but not on the TC75. Best regards, Mikael Eklund
