We want to use Samsung Tab Active 3 to allow the employees to clock in/out from the workspace entrance using face recognition. I created a new profile to make the tablet open the URL in the kiosk mode but the camera doesn't open when we click on it. Can somebody please help me to change the camera's permession? MobiControl Version: 15.6.1.1048 Device: Samsung Tab A9 (SM-X115) OS Version: Android 14 Agent Version: 2024.1.1.1125 I have noticed that on our Android 14 Samsung tablets, we dont seem to be able to remove the 'Edge Panel' via MobiControl. Previosuly we had done this with an app run control profile that blacklists the Edge Panel bundle ID (com.samsung.android.app.cocktailbarservice). This seems to work for all Android versions apart from 14. On our Android 14 devices, it shows as uninstalled, but it still appears on the device and in the settings app as per the screenshots below. Is there another way that i can bulk remove this from devices without having to manually go into settings on each one and disable it?
Hello, I have a trouble. After agent update from 2024.1.0 to latest 2024.1.1.1125 all of my lenovo' devices deleted. Server Version: 2024.0.1.1020 I requested agent update(not delete) and this happend: Model is: Lenovo TB-X505F, A10 others devices worked without problem. I lost almost 300 devices from soti right now. Any idea how should I return devices back into soti please? thank you
I enrolled my personal Android 12 phone in soti mobicontrol using work profile. I need to fetch Mac address of the device but when pull devices data using the API and also in dashboard mac addresses fiels are coming as blank/unknown. Any Solution to this? Our 'Deployment Server Extensions & Web Console' certificate is about to expire. I went to the administration utility and generated a new certificate. During this process I was not required to write anything. But when I try to apply the certificate, I get a warning that the host name does not match the certificate common name. Is there something I should do prior to generating the certificate? Our server is running on premises and is version 14.2.0.2894
I have a Bluebird EF500 model. I want to enroll Android Enterprise. How to do it on first screen? I have perform Factory Reset and the device has erase everything and it restart to welcome screen. From there, I don't know how to enter the android enterprise to insert enrollment ID.

Hello, In Windows Classic, there is a prompt wherein the device user can input their device name when the agent is first started. I was wondering if that feature is possible in a Windows Modern setup or if there's a different approach where the user can input their device name upon enrollment. Thank you. - Zack
Hello, I have a problem when I try to enroll an old Zebra MC92N0 running Android 4.4. To summarize, the device was functional, but when I searched for it in Soti using the Serial Number or MAC address, I couldn't find it. So, I performed a factory reset, and now when I attempt to re enroll it, the device gives me the message: "This device has been un-Enrolled by the Administrator." Anyone know why I got that message and how can I get rid of it? Thanks for the help Mat
Hi everyone, I would like to delete a file on an Android device using the MobiControl Package Studio. The files were also copied to the device via a package. Currently we are trialing TC57X devices. We are planning to use these for drivers that need to use Google Maps however I have been told that the screen times out after 30 minutes which means the driver needs to pull over and unlock the device to continue to use maps. I understand a device timing out when an app is not launched however I would assume that if maps is in use a device would stay unlocked? 30 minutes is the max limit within settings. Hi I’ve been experiencing issues with the MacOS Helper tool crashing ever since I started using MobiControl last year and Soti support have suggested that I install the 2024 version of the agent and helper tool on our Macs. My server is 15.6 but the support agent confirmed that the 2024 agent and helper tool are compatible with server 15.6, and resolve the crashing issue Unfortunately, they’re not very clear on *how* I should install these items. They’ve directed me to an old support article which suggests using an Application Catalog rule in the old style console, but I don’t see any way of using that type of rule in the old console and I think that this method has been replaced by App policies? I currently have a policy which installs the MobiControl app on MacOS devices but I believe that the agent and helper tool are separate, not part of the app. I tried making a policy to install the helper tool and agent but that just resulted in the managed devices getting into an endless loop of launching and crashing the MobiControl app. So I disabled that policy. I don’t see any way of installing the new agent and helper tool, other than manually on each device. Somehow the existing agent and helper tool were installed when I enrolled the devices, but I don’t see how that happened as I don’t see any policy which installed them. Hopefully someone has the answer. Thanks!
