I am trying to update our TC70x devices to the latest Oreo LG patch. I used file sync to get the ZIP on all the devices and then scheduled the script (install_system_update %sdcard%/mdm/CFE_ATLAS_02-13-15.00-OG-U20-STD.zip) to install outside of production hours. When I woke up I saw that this failed. I went to one of the devices and just sent the script through the script button on SOTI and the device updated fine. So I am not sure what I am doing wrong here.
Hello, I have an issue with come Zebra MC67 running Android 4.1.1 and for a few weeks I encountered the next issue: even if devices are connected to the internet ( 3G / Wi-fi) the Agent status is "Disconnected". So I can't update any app or connect to the device. Notes: -Other Samsung / Bluebird devices do not encounter this issue. -Foreground script sent to a few of these devices, doesn't seem to help. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hello, We are having issues configuring EHS on a TC52, running Android Pie and build 02-11-01.00-PG-U06 (with update 06), using MobiControl. TC52 are Android Enterprise enrolled using the afw#mobicontrol. It seem that somewhere access to the /Enterprise/usr folder is blocked when MobiControl is used. Settings made in enterpsiehomescreen.xml and wallpaper are not imported like on versions before Android Pie It is not possible to make an export (when APK is installed through MobiControl), see screenshots below: We have pushed a logo and enterprisehomescreen.xml to the /enterprise/usr folder, but when accessing the files using the file browser on the device, the file logo.png cannot be opened.In example below the files are put in the root of the device, where the preview of the png file is there and wallpaper will open like it should. Screenshots below are from the /enterprise/usr folder, where the preview of the png file is not there and the wallpaper cannot be opened. Also files cannot be copied from and to /enterprise/usr folder: If we don’t connect the device to MobiControl and we install EHS manually it works fine, so is probably related to some permission setting in MobiControl. Does any one has any idea what can be the problem?
If the device name used in the ADD DEVICE RULE is updated to a NEW device name, would new devices enrolled after the device name was changed enroll with the older device name or the updated device name? For instance, if the name originally configured in the ADR was "TC57_%ESN%", and the MCSETUP.ini file was downloaded and being used. At some point the ADR is updated and the new device name is now "TC57_%SerialNumber% but the MCSETUP.ini file is NOT re-downloaded. What would the device name of newly enrolled devices be if the original MCSETUP.ini file is still being used? Would SOTI set the device name to the updated ADR configuration or would the MCSETUP.ini configuration be used?

Tried to use mxconfig to disable the phone application and messaging application but it has failed. The error message in the log states "Script command is not supported by device (xmlconfig)"
I have searched the forum and I know that there are issues with Android Enterprise disabling auto rotate. I haven't seen any new posts so i thought I would ask. Is there any way in Soti or StageNow that you can disable auto rotate with Android Enterprise?
Hey Guy's, we're actually working with Zebra Devices on Android Nougat (7.1.2) very successfull. All new Devices and also the old one's had to be upgraded to Oreo in the future in Case of security Updates etc. Unfortunately we're not using a PIN or Pattern so far and on Android Nougat it works great. But when I join an Oreo Device, it has to be set up with a Device PIN or Pattern to work correctly. In our specific Case no Certificate for Wifi e.g. can be pushed to device. Also other stuff like mxconfig Things wont work until we set up a PIN on the Device. Is there any Chance to get Oreo running without the need of a PIN on the Device? many thanks PS: Were using MobiControl 13.4.0.5074, Agent Version 14.0.0.1579 in DoA Mode, Zebra TC20 & TC51 / TC52 Devices

Is there anyone who have gotten OEMConfig (Zebra) to work in the Application Catalog Rule with managed google play store.From what I understand you should be able to add a config to the application when it is installed onto the devices? Like for example Google Chrome which also supports "Managed Configuration"
Hi @All, when you enable the following option on a tc8300 (Zebra) on Version Mobicontrol 14.43 and Agent 14.0.0.1579 with newest RC-Plugin. The remotecontrol screen gets blacked out. I dont know if thats android related or how the pluging from zebra exactly works, but when disabled the screen isnt blacked out anymore. Just to inform you since there were other Posts where this was occuring. Have a nice day. John
Hi All, I've recently received a Zebra MC93 for testing from one of my vendors, I'm in the process of getting it set up for our Warehouse Management System. I have DW enabled and set to "send enter" but when I scan a barcode it's not sending enter as it should be. I have attempted to force stop and relaunch DW after turning the checkbox off and on, restarting device, etc. I've also tested with multiple apps to verify it wasn't just an issue with our WMS app, or a specific profile. Android 8.1.0 MobiControl Version: 14.3.0.3144 MC Agent Version 13.9.0 Build 1046
Hey Guys, I have a very specific Updateproblem with Zebra Devices. Anyway, hopefully someone can help me or got the same issue in the past. We try to Update our Zebra TC20 from OS 04.14.30 Lifeguard 4 to Lifeguard 13. If I do this with adb sideload and a USB Cable everything works fine. We also done a few Updates remotely with Soti-Command Install_system_update and also with Zebra MX OS Update (http://techdocs.zebra.com/stagenow/3-4/csp/power/) This also worked fine on ~ 100 Devices. But now we get an Error on most of our devices. We got captured this Errormessage: Firstival we thought the OS Update File was not downloaded completly. So we done a few Tests but the Update File has the same size and MDM5-Sum. We also tested to copy the Update-File with Soti Remote Control with the same issue So for us it seems to be some local issue of the Device. Does anyone know if there is any cache limit or something else who could deny our OS Update??? Or is there any chance to force a "clean boot" which resets all the cache of the device? If we try to apply the Update on a fresh installed Device everything works fine. Also a Factory Reset can be applied by every device (same way like the Lifeguard Update) We also checked the File-Permission of the Update-File but it's always -rw-rw---- on working and non working devices. Further we tried to copy the File to /data/tmp/public with the same result. In any Case the Update-File has always the same Size :-( Could there be any File-Lock on the Update-File or has anyone an Idea how we can log this process to find out what happens in this situation? Hi, how to change the Settings from Zebra Enterprise Keyboard via .xml or skript. The problem is, that this keyboard has a bug (didn't show the navigation tabs sometimes). I know that i have to change following Settings: Navigation Mode change from Tab to Keys Preferred Tab change from Alpha Numeric to Numeric I git it now -.- <wap-provisioningdoc> <characteristic type="EnterpriseKeyboard"> <parm name="NavigationMode" value="2"/> <parm name="SelectPreferTab" value="1"/> </characteristic></wap-provisioningdoc> For future and a tipp for others looking for those settings: Take a look at the device folder: /etc/mx/cspmgr/dsd/ and take a look for the setting you are looking for (ex. EnterpriseKeyboard). The names and values are listed here. and you have only to change the examples found here: https://techdocs.zebra.com/mx/uimgr/
