Hi All,We have 600 brand new Samsung Galaxy A14 devices. I need to enroll them in SOTI like all our other devices however are not having much luck. We have staged these device types before with no issues however we are having a great deal of trouble at the moment.Issue;When we scan a QR code generated via Stage Programmer app the device will show "Getting your device ready..." or "Just a sec..." this will sit for 3 - 5 minutes before finally showing only a white screen with a little black arrow bottom left hand corner.When you press this arrow you only have a reset device option and nothing more.Resolution attempts;I've tried pointing the device to different WIFI networks / using cellular / using different enrolment ID's / enrolment direct URL / using no enrolment what so ever. Any help here would be appreciatedThanks
How do i create a deployment rule and package for a CK65? For all other device types / OS i have the "add device" option but not for Android. Due to how my corporate network is configured, i have to be able to deploy without accessing the play store.
Hello everyone, I recently discovered something on our Android 8 Zebra devices. I observed it on the TC56 and MC3300 models. There's a floating Home button on the screen, present with and without the EHS lockdown. I have other Android 8 devices that don't have that button, If i click that button, mobicontrol crash and i lost connection for couples seconde on the device and i can log back with soti. I'm not sure if the agent is the problem, but it's the only difference in my configuration. All other profiles are the same. Is it possible that the agent is the source of my problem? How can I get rid of the icon? Thanks for any suggestion !
Hello, If we enroll the CK75 with the APK "IntermecMobiControlIntermec-15.2.0.1025.apk" after finiching we get an error "Unforunately mobicontrol has stopped". Actually we are installing the agent version 14.5.5.1023 then making the upgrade of the agent to the version 15.2.0.1025 and it works fine (very rarely we get the error mentioned above) do you have a solution to enroll the devices with the latest version without getting such issue Thanks Amine
Hi, Has anyone experienced the same thing, some of our Samsung devices that use the latest agent version 15.4.4.1063 can't connect to the server and after I check the device details it appears like this.
I am looking for to get details of unenrolled devices. is there any log or report to get this information use case: after unenroll and delete a device from the console there are no way to check the existed device name.
Hello, We would avoid to swipe up the screen when you open the device and also when the device is on hold. From our side we are able to disable the SWIPE UP with Stage Now in the TC57, but the question is how to disbale the SWIPE UP with SOTI like a script or anything else. Device is ZEBRA TC57 managed by SOTI 14 Thank you for your assist. Regards, François
Hi Everyone, I did an installation of MobiControl OnPremise v15.6.4After the Installation I am running into some issues. I installed the components like this: The Management Service is installed on a server in the LAN. Database and Deployment Server are running on a server in the DMZ. Now I am running into the following issues: Do you got any idea how I can fix the "proxy authentication necessary" issue? My customer is using a proxy server to access the internet. We already configured this Proxy under Global Settings --> Global Proxy in the Web Console. The SOTI Services are unreachable and everything else is green. I didn't try to enroll a device into MobiControl because it should be impossible due to the unreachable services. It is planned to enroll Android devices only. As always thanks for your help!

Hi everyone, want to ask regarding BYOD, let say user is received URL link at his personal whatsapp for some kind of approval, is there possibility user open it use Work profile browser? I tried it, but it doesn't trigger Work Profile browser. The only things that i think as solution is create new whatsapp number, push whatsapp at work profile, then send the link to that Whatsapp, but not everyone has phone with dual SIM card. Hope anyone has experienced this case.
Hello I am testing enrolling some Zebra TC78 onto soti. The devices connect via VPN to a Meraki MX firewall. When the VPN connection is active, the mobicontrol agent disconnects and stays in a state of connecting. Meraki have advised that the agent is sending packets that are too big, the mx is asking for the packets to be fragmented but the agent ignores the request, the mx then terminates the connection. Does anyone have any pointers on where to go to solve this? Thanks Michael
Hello, I am trying to run a script for devices that are inactive, meaning the lockscreen is entered. Is there a way to run a script, if a device enters the lockscreen or even better if it is staying for a few minutes on the lockscreen? I could imagine that this would be possible with the Signal Policy, but there is no option for this. Best, Eduard
Hi, I came up with problem to enroll our devices on specific WiFi which is secure by FW rules. Basicaly I can say the model of it is everything is closed and what we allow it can be reach. For our Zebra devices we've got enroll from private FTP on site - it's OK Problem occures with non-Zebra devices (tablets) which I want to enroll via QR code. I have to use link to http://soti.net/apk/ae2 If we allowed FQDN it's not enough. After some research we found out that this link redirects to mirrors addresses(servers). Is there any list of approved SOTI sites/IPs which must be allow on FW please? I could find some of them in log but it's always swapping to the new ones. Device (samsung tablet) has been enrolled in a group(warehouse location) with that groups own policies and app rules. Device is need else where at another warehouse so the tablet is moved to another group (new warehouse) on the View Devices screen. How do I get the (old warehouse) old group's rules, polies and enrollment removed from the device and the new group's (new warehouse) access transferred to the device without having to factory reset and start over with correct enrollment id? These groups/warehouses also have their own google play accounts. Right now everything is working except the app policies. The new group's applications state "package not found." When looking at the config, the app policy is missing even though it has been reassigned. version 15.4
