Currently, we have two messaging applications that will only alert if a message is sent when either in admin mode, application is open, or if we allow the status bar expansion. We don't want to allow the status bar expansion since users could inadvertantly disable wifi or change settings. Is there a way to enable the sound notifications while still locking down the status bar? We are using Zebra TC52 devices with Andriod 8.1. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Hello, Users are not able to turn off notification on applications such as Teams, Outlook. It is possible to toggle notification button to off, but it doesn't stay off. This is occurring on following devices. - Samsung S24 Android 14 and Motorola moto g23 Android 14. How can I authorize user to turn off notification on these devices?Thanks in advance
Hi, as we all know we do have a notification bubble on the top right corner of an app when there is a notification like a message or a missed call. Is there a way to enable that in a lockdown? I already tried Displaying Notifications for Lockdown Menu Items from the manual but that's not exactly what i was looking for because i'm using 10 apps on lockdown and i would like to see which app dows have a notification for me. I've got some Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (SM-T295) devices running Android 10 and enrolled via AE. They are constantly making background notification noises, which I believe is coming to from the Google Play Store. Does anyone know of a way to disable notifications on a per app basis via a script that i can send to the devices?
Samsung w/Android 10 Settings App Notifications Phone - Everything is "greyed out" except App icon badges. No assigned profiles, or packages, why can't I change this setting and how/where do I get control of this setting and other setting like it?
Hi, we are using version 15.1.0.3416 of MobiControl, and currently we are constantly reminded of two things when we log into the web console: Android Agent Updates Almost All Licenses Used Is there any possibility to remove those notifications? Neither of them are relevant to us. The first one is reminding us that there are updates available for some Android agents - but there are no updates to the Android agents we are actually using. The second one is even more annoying, since it is perfectly normal to be using exactly 100% of the available licences, and then buy new licences whenever they are needed. If this is a tactic to get people to buy more licences, then it is not working for us, and instead it is downgrading the UX of the application. Daníel
Would Mobicontrol have any impact on push notifications on the iPhone? We are using Application Run Control, but the app we want push notifications for would be on the allow list. Are there any other settings that are likely to block a push notification? I don't foresee any issues, however I do not have access to the device or software to test this to confirm. Thanks!

In some devices, the users can't see notifications in the bar status when receive any massage or GHangout message, for example. We use the lockdown mode on 99% of our Android Enterprise devices (mostly Samsung Tab A's like the SM-T295) and part of our lockdown solution is to block the expansion of the notification bar. The problem i have is that if someone gets a text for example, the only notification they get is on the lockscreen when you unlock the device. Once the device is unlocked and on the lockdown mode there is no visual reminder that they have a notification. Is there a way of getting 'badge app icons' to show on the lockdown mode if the user gets a notification? (i.e. a little number 1 appears over the Messages app if they have an unread message)
Hello, We have Lenovo devices so the user may not display any notifications. Apps are blocked, but still notifications are popping up. writesecuresetting -sec lock_screen_allow_private_notifications 0 writesecuresetting -sec lock_screen_show_notifications 0 But I assume this command is only for Samsung. Is there also one for a Lenovo Tab 3 10? As well I tried to set a background/lock screen image in SOTI MobiControl 14.4.1 (via advanced option) but this doesn't work at all. Does somebody have any idea how to change this? Thank you for your comments

Hello, We have Samsung devices with lockdown, with Disable Status Bar Expansion, so the user may not display QuickSettings. But, when the battery is below 10% there appears a low battery notification, and the user may display QuickSettings from it. Is there any way to disable such notifications or Quick Settings completly? Thank you for your comments
Hello everyone. I just enrolled a Moto E4 Plus smartphone using Android for Work (Device Owner). There are two persistent notifications that I want to hide (image attached): - An application has special access to your device. No idea how to hide this, without hidding all Android System notifications. - Account action required. Should I delete the Android Enterprise account after I enroll it? (We do not use a managed account, we let the user configure their own). Thanks in advance, Max.
Is there a way to disable this notification? it even pops up in a new window when performing certain actions like editing an enrollment rule and is very intrusive. The application's use case is often to manage a set number of devices, no more and no less. Of course the max number of licenses are being used, who would pay for more license they wouldn't use? Can i disable this notification/announcement? Also, i have seen a popup asking me how likely i would be to recommend SOTI to a friend, which while i understand the purposes of that feedback, is not exactly appropriate in a professional enterprise device environment. I hope there are some options around the notifications that are allowed/disallowed that i have not found yet.
