We use SOTI to deploy iOS devices and are interested in the version of one app that is installed. Is there any way to pull this onto the device list for easy viewing? Currently I have to run the app version report but this does not include the time when the device last connected so is not overly helpful for identifying app version issues. It's a lot of effort to pull 2 different reports and then join them (especially as the dates export as text and are not easily converted)
Hi There, i'm looking on how to add Mobicontrol as a data source of PowerBI to build customized report and combine devices data with other data sources. Any idea on how this could be done? MobiControl versions: 15.4.3.1012 (Cloud)
Good Morning, I am looking for a way to generate a report to see what devices are currently on and connected to SOTI. I am pushing several App packages tonight and would like to have an idea of how many devices are currently connected at the time of the updates so I can monitor and support if needed. I would also like to figure out a way to check what devices haven't connected in a while lets say 1 week or 1 month. What is the best method to achieve these two sets of data?
I have currently the strange Problem that when i enable feature control on our TC8300, and someone pulls out the battery or it gets empty the device gets somehow stuck and wont boot again for another 10-15 minutes until all energy from the circuits depleted. I think its a power management issue correlated to the hibernation possibilitys (supercapacitor) to change the battery without shutting the device down. If i remove feature control and reboot the device i can not reproduce the issue at all. Has anyone run into the same issue or not , and if so what featurecontrol settings have you enabled? Running on: Agent: 14.5.3.1017 MC: 15.3.1
Is there a report I can run from within MobiControl, that will tell me what Bluetooth Pairings are on each device? Devices running Android 8 Would like to know if the device has made a pairing and the name of the paired device.
I've been asked to find out how often devices are being used to determine if they have over/under ordered for the warehouse. I am not seeing anything relevant when poking through the reports and the closest thing I can see is using custom data collection which logs who is logged into the WMS app we are using, which would not make an easy to read report. Is there anything already setup like this that can be utilizied?
Hi, We got different terminals with Android 8 in the factory and they actually only display in the notification bar the icon of the battery but no his %, i try to find how to configure via StageNow or SOTI that parameter to evade configure the terminals one by one but i cannot find how to make it. Someone know how i can do it?
HiI have a problem viewing the report after collecting data from the specified devices, the report shows "Date Time" incorrectly, as far as I check the time on the report is wrong with Real time is about 7 hours. The devices were properly configured with the standard time zone in my area, so I don't know why. Many thank!
Hi, I noticed that if system information and notifications expansion is available on Kiosk mode, then user can click into battery information and enter the device settings. Is there any way to solve this ?
Hello, I want to get device usage data at the group level as well as the usage time of the different apps, specifically chrome. To control the time of use of the devices I have tried to use Device connectivity Activity report, but this measures the time that the device is connected, so if the equipment is locked or charging without anyone using it, it will give me a time of use not real.On the other hand, I have tried to use the foreground App Data collection rule, and I get in each period of time the app that is in the foreground on a certain device. Is there a possibility to convert this into a% usage statistic or graph?I don't know if soti has other simpler methods to know how and how much a device is used (perhaps soti assist), I am still getting too complicated and there are simpler and more effective ways?Any hint is welcome. Im using STI 14.4.9.1034 and Android Enterprise with Android 9.
Good afternoon SOTI Support . We want your usual support for the enable following features: How to extract report for devices that connect with and without SIM card? How to Close formatting the devices from users and make it centralized for admins only? How to extract phone and internet log report for devices ?
We are having problems getting accurate results in the "Last Connect Dates" and "Agent Checkin Time" graphs within SOTI. It appears that we are only seeing this problem on Android Enterprise devices as we have the same graphs setup for Windows devices and get accurate results. Android Enterprise devices show as "Unknown" on each graph even though this information is available on the device details page. We setup columns in the dashboard to show this information per each device which shows accurate information but business is requesting this in a graphical form. It would be nice to be able to use the graphs that already exist on the dashboard for this purpose. I have included screenshots as reference. Thank you, Justin Pratt
I've been asked to report on data from the beginning of the year (2+ months old now) and currently on any report I run it only shows me back to 2 weeks old. I don't remember this being the case before and I can't easily see a setting to change this.I'm guessing SOTI is only keeping data for 2 weeks and then wiping it, which seems crazy and so surely I must be able to change a setting somewhere to ask it to store for at least 6 months? Any clarification would be much appreciated.
This was working but now I'm unable to run a report. We have a cloud service and are using v13.4. I saw on an ealier thread that someone else had the same problem and it was an MS-SQL package issue. As we're using the cloud version we don't have access to the server in that way. Can anyone assist?
