Hi everyone, We’re currently in an advanced phase of our SOTI project and are working on implementing dynamic URLs. The goal is to avoid creating a separate profile for each device and instead use custom attributes to achieve a more flexible setup. During my research, I came across and implemented the following documentation:👉 Dynamic URLs in SOTI Surf The StoreNumber example perfectly matches our use case. However, in our case, the custom attribute does not seem to resolve properly in SOTI Surf. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or found a solution for this?I’d really appreciate any insights or suggestions! 🙏 Best regards,Fabian
I’ve been looking for this option for a while, but I can’t find it...The device is in Kiosk Mode...
Hello All,I've tried to mask blue bars in Soti Surf (Top and Bottom Bars), but it doesn't work! Result: I've also ticked ‘Hide Address Bar’ but it's still visible. I can only activate full page mode by checking the ‘Enable Kiosk Mode’ option. ZEBRA L10 tablet running Android14.Agent version: 2025.0.2.1045SOTI Surf version: 2025.1.0 Build 1Thank you in advance for your help.
Hello, I have kiosk mode enabled with multiple applications, including a shortcut for a web-based app. I need to enable forced zoom in the browser so that end users can zoom in and out as needed. When in admin mode, I can achieve this in Chrome by going to Settings > Accessibility > Force Enable Zoom. However, I’ve tried various approaches in kiosk mode, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how to enable forced zoom specifically with SOTI Surf in kiosk mode? The "Allow Zoom Gestures" is checked. Thanks in advance!
Hello, Like you read in the title, we can't manage the feature “text scaling” in Soti Surf. Same problem if we manage the feature on the payload Soti Surf on Soti Mobicontrol or directly on the app Soti Surf. If i put "50%", nothing append. Regards, Chad MCT Compagny
I have made a profile for Windows 11, Windows Modern Single-App Kiosk Mode. In here I set the User Account, the SOTI SURF PFN, the Application ID I extracted with the MobiControlWindowsUtility. Now the device boots and starts KIOSK mode. But I get a black screen and don't know how to set the wanted URL I want SOTI SURF to start in. This should be remote manegable I think? Maybe someone could give me a push in the right direction?
Is there a posibility to start Soti Surf from a lockdown shortcut directly in Downloads screen? I'm using Surf for one of our internal web apps, and endusers are downloading pdf documents and photos. I'm looking for a way to give endusers access to that downloaded files (without access to other files, so shortcut for myfiles or other file explorers is a no go) Tried to check the activity for the Downloads screen in SOTI. Current activity name: net.soti.surf/.ui.activities.DownloadContentActivity Are there some sendintent scripts that could work? MC Version: 15.6.3.1018 Devices used: Zebra with Android 10/11/13 Thanks in advance
I am currently working with a WT6300 RF Mobile computer and we have it set in landscape mode however when using SOTI surf the application is still rotating. Do we know if there is a system in which we can stop that? While disable auto rotate does help it when it is being worn it still rotates when docked..
Hi, sorry for the bad title. Can I use the same scanner profile for all my Zebra MC3300X, but with different applications running depending on which scanner it is. I have them sorted per application in different organizational units.I have soti surf running on all of them and different web applications.I don't want to give the user the option to choose which web application to start. I find it not practical to have 6 profiles just for different web links we use on the scanners, but with the same basic configurationI have the newest version of Mobicontrol running and also the newest Android Enterprise agent. Are there best practices I'm missing or maybe a setting i can use for this?In any case, thanks for reading and your helpBest RegardsFlorian
Hello, I'm using a zebra tc51 and i have a website and we want to scan the barcode to the check box and the site shows the product info. I set up a new datawedge profile for surf and for the first time it's working, but if i go another application and go back the barcode reader doesn't work.So the question is, is there any other setting that might help or maybe I need to set something in the profile?
Good Afternoon, I would like to know why an input data list doesn't actually work correctly and if there is a fix it as it's important for our applications that will be used by our employees on SOTI Surf. The below HTML is an example that didn't work on SOTI Surf but worked fine in every other browser we use including Chrome on Android, Chrome on Windows and even Firefox. <input placeholder="search..." type="text" list="searchDropdown" /><datalist id="searchDropdown"><option value="test1">Option 1</option><option value="test2">Option 2</option><option value="test3">Option 3</option><option value="test4">Option 4</option><option value="test5">Option 5</option><option value="test6">Option 6</option></datalist>
