Hello, I noticed that Database servers are using a lot of memory Utilization 96% always. Why do Database servers use a lot of memory? and how to fix it Thanks! I use SOTI Mobicontrol 15.3
We are experiencing issues with ipads not keeping their configurations perodically without any sort of cause. Apps will disappear and authentication issues occur. Log files aren't providing any useful information. Any assistance or shared knowledge of this beviour would be appreciated. thanks
Hello ! We have set up a reactive profile for iOS. I want to enforce the use of a passcode on the iPhone, but without it expiring. In Configurations > Passcode, I have therefore selected a minimum length, but there is also the ‘maximum passcode age’ setting, which, according to the documentation, accepts values from 0 to 730... but I cannot select 0. If I enter ‘0’, it reverts to ‘1’, and the passcode needs to be changed every day... I simply want to disable the expiry, but this does not seem to be possible. Does anyone know why, whether I am doing something wrong or if it is a bug? I wanted to add a screenshot to this post but I keep getting a 400 error :-) I should point out that we are not yet Mobicontrol customers; we are currently in a trial period on a trial licence, which expires in a few days, so I cannot create a ticket. eSIM profile management is ineffective. I have properly created an eSIM profile policy and pushed it to the devices, which run Android 15 and Android 16 respectively. The status shows as Assigned, but the device logs all indicate Activation Failed in the end. I am unsure of the cause and would greatly appreciate your assistance.
Hello, I would like to ask how we can switch SIM-managed devices to LTE / 4G mode via a script or any alternative method. Currently, the devices are using 5G, but the connection is not as stable as expected. Could you please advise on possible methods to lock the devices to LTE / 4G mode?
When using the signal-based policy, I encountered several issues and hope to get answers: When selecting Managed Device as the type, choosing an attribute with the trigger condition set to Send Message or Alert, and configuring it to activate immediately, the alert or message is still not received right away even if the condition is triggered. Sometimes it takes several hours or longer to arrive. What is the reason for this? Also, emails are hardly ever received. When selecting types such as Configuration Profile, Policy, User Role, etc., no response occurs no matter how the settings are configured. How exactly are these options used?
Hello, Past month or so we are seeing a lot of our devices that are in Shared mode registered with entra being de-registered Is anyone else experiencing this issue?Samsung Active tab 3 and 5 devicesOS 13 and 15Android Microsoft 365 condistional access is connected and synced.Devices once registered are compliant. Authenticator and Company Portal apps are installed on the devices. We do use app protection policies which is user based not device based. This is to protect company data (cant copy into 3rd part apps, cant screenshot etc.)I have also excluded users to rull out the app protection from applying but the device would still de-register. Date and time are correct on the device.On my test device i signed in and locked the device, left it plugged into power. by the end of the day it de-registered itself. Without me touching it.Microsoft cannot see any issues on their end from the logs that they are seeing.Currently ticket logged with SOTIAny suggestions would be appreciated

Hello! We're currently experimenting with bluetooth connectivity with some of our devices but no matter what I try. The popup to confirm the bluetooth pairing never shows up. We're testing on a Zebra KC50 device in kiosk lockdown mode. What we're trying to achive is using Soti's own Settings Manager and from there pair different perephirals like a Zebra scanner and different brands of bluetooth keyboards. It can "pair" but it never completes the pairing process as the bluetooth pairing popup doesn't show. The settings manager has access to turn on/off bluetooth, scan and pair. Then we're also using Zebra OEMConfig powered by MX which we have enabled pairing popup from but the popup never actually shows on the device while in kiosk mode. Any advice on how to solve this or if it is possible?

Hi, we are using some Raspberries as monitoring devices with Debian on them. We want to use Akamai Web App Firewall for our SOTI server and I need to test the services from the client side. I have succesfully enrolled the device with the client pointed to the WAF as a hostname of our SOTI server, so the communication should be OK, but the device shows itself as inactive in SOTI web console. I need to have some output on why it doesnt work, so I am looking for a way to test the services from console with command like curl or something. Do we have any? Thanks

We need to push an esim to a remote iphone but only have the LPA string from the QR code. This conntains the eSIM server URL but also some activation details. Is it possible to push this to the device using the Update eSIM Cellular plan option?Would I paste the whole string or just the server URL?
