We created a custom lockdown in Portrait mode. When we turn the screen in landscape, the lockdown screen doesn't fit very well. Is it possible to have something responsive ?
I've updated an system app to a pre release version via installing apk. I'm trying to remove the app in Mobiconrol, Devices > Applications > Remove program. Then I only get "Pending Uninstallation" When having handset in my hand and enter settings, select the app, and select Uninstall updates. I can remove the update. Is there any way to Uninstall updates remote via mobicontrol? This is not a customer issus, but I'm trying to understand how apps can be installed and unistalled, and what limitiations to consider. (I realize that unistall app removes settings and is not always the best way forward) Using Android 8.1 and Soti Mobicontol Version: 14.2.0.2894
Dear Supporter I am trying to delete Total log file from the DB, not in the admin console. I already truncated the log file in admin console but it was not reduced. Could you please help me? Is there a way to run a script via Soti on a device to turn off the battery optimization for a specific app?
We'd like to add the ability for some non-techincal users to ONLY send messages to Android+ devices. I have been playing with user permissions for a couple hours now and can't find a way to give them to ability to send messages without also having the ability to accidently delete, un-enroll, etc. devices. Either they can't see the dvices at all or they have too many permissions. Is there a way to accomplish this goal of ONLY having the send message function?SOTI v14.2TC70 (Lollipop) and TC70X devices (Nougat)Thanks
Hello all, here, we work with mobicontrol on version => 13.3.0.3454. We have a lot of devices model zebra tc 75x with a client mobicontrol on version 13.5.0 build 1677 All works fine but we'd like to identify the device who aren't connected since a period of time. For to resume, all our device sync every 15 minutes with our system and we need to send some datas to other third party. But for some reason, if the device can't sync (device not connected => no gprs, device are in a building, ...) for a period of time 3hours we receive some PENALTY .. :-( For this reason, we'd like to identity the device who aren't connected since for exemple > 2h and force a sync .. I've look on the report tab inside the mobicontrol administration and find some utils report but not exactly what i want .. How i can make a report with this information ? thanks
I use Soti with a Samsung Tab S3 tablet in kiosmode. The screen saver of the tablet is a four-digit pin code. Every time the tablet starts up or is removed from its screen saver, the PIN code must be entered. However, if the kiosk mode starts, the PIN code must also be entered (user action pending, please confirm your screen lock password) and that is very annoying. In Agent version 13.5 we do not have this problem but with version 13.6. What am I doing wrong?
Hello, We are in the process of upgrading from version 13.2 to v13.4. We still have over 3000 devices on non-ELM agents, so the first step would be to get all of these devices migrated. The problem is, many of these devices have been out of contact for months, some over a year. Is there any way besides deleting these devices to perform the upgrade. I received some information about possibly deleting them from the SQL data, but I was wondering if there were any other alternatives. All devices Samsung tablets

When enrolling devices as DO on SOTI using android enterprise i have seen devices behaving differently. Some allow access to the home button and recent apps key if you swipe down from the top but others don't i cant explain this behaviour. OEM version :- 01-01-49.00-NG-U12-STD What i would like is to use the menu button from the lockdown instead of the floating home button. Has anyone had any experience with this?
On the lockdown, Is it possible to display the date and the time of the device ?

Hello all, I have a tablet Panasonic FZ B2 under android 6.0 On this tablet , i have a mobicontrol client on version 1330 1110 since several month. All works fine but we need to update the tablet with some news feature and restriction. we 'd like to update this tablet with soti surf and new version of client mobicontrol. For this, i have create a profile and on this profile i have put inside two packages (package studio) - first position : client mobicontrol on last version - second position : soti surf => download from the site (https://docs.soti.net/soti-mobicontrol/downloads) result is client is well installed and connected but ...soti surf isn't installed ...and no information about what's happen's ... no error, profile is on status installed. If i change on profile the order of installed package : - soti surf - mobicontrol client Result is the same ...soti surf not installed Of course, if i installd all apk manually all works Any idea ? thanks
Zebra Android Devices, I'm trying to work out a staging routine that when devices drop into a folder they are updated to the correct firmware version and device configuration. Then after that is done the applications and lock screen is attached. Is there a way to put in some kind of IF statement that says if the firmware != then install this firmware build. I can push firmware already through profiles but devices that already have that firmware still get the firmware downloaded and reinstalled. Also I tried using the prerequisite settings for packages, but they fail if the prereq isn't met and never try again even though the prerequisite has been installed. I'm fine with using scripts to accomplish this, but haven't seen the ability to pull the firmware as a variable.
