Hello, We are trying to ensure our Zebra TC56's can not be factory reset. If I add the SOTI factory reset protection to a device, and then do a reset I can easily get around the prompt by scanning a barcode to skip the google setup. So this seems pretty pointless. Is there any other way to lock this down in SOTI? I've seen some MDM's display a constant pop up and force shut down even after a factory reset. Thanks!
Good morning, I have a client using Android tablets with warehouse management system. We are running into an issue where the file sizes of the images are much too large. I believe it is not possible to change the default camera settings with MobiControl, but does anyone know of a third-party camera app for Android that would do this? Even if we had to push down a config file via StageNow, that beats manually changing the settings on 30+ devices every time there is an update... Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Jeff
Basic question After the installation of SOTI Agent (DO) When deviuce show sthe agent and requires the Enrollment ID Is there any method to stop enrollment process if the enrollment failed ? eg due to Firewal blocking 5494/5495 or 443 ports ? what I mean is : is it possible to fully stop the enrollment process and be able to reset device to factory ? thx.
Hello, i'm trying to add a link with a macro as parameters on my Lockdown. https://my-url/url/%MAC% In order to access an internal page where the mac address is used. I tried a lot of different combination, as Intent://, Browsers://, Https://, even inputted the link right in the template. One of the intent example : intent:my-url/%MAC%/#Intent;scheme=https;action=android.intent.action.VIEW;component=com.android.chrome/com.google.android.apps.chrome.Main;end Also tried with utf-8 encoding for '%' as %25 same.. None of them is working .. Could use a little help on this ! Thanks in advance
On MobiControl console, when I searched for a device using IMEI, I can see 2 devices. When I queried database, it also shows 2 records for same IMEI. Only difference is in DeviceId column value. I've that device & there is no MobiControl installed on it. It is factory reset device which I got from another department. What possibly wrong could have happened in this case? My understanding was while enrolling device on SOTI, it does check if similar device(by comparing IMEI/Serial Number) is already enrolled or not. Is my understanding correct?
Is there a configuration that allows for a single app only to run without going through the lockdown launcher? I want a selected to application to run all the time like in a kiosk mode, but without having the user be able to go to a launcher type screen and select an app. SO far I have been able to make a single app be the only choice to launch from the lockdown screen, but I want to just skip that all together and go straight to the app. This is for a room scheduler deployment where all we want is for the device to always run the room scheduler app.
Hi there, we are using a Datacollection Rule for GPS Tracking in one environment. Unfortunatly it appears that the routers are displayed totaly wrong. As you can see in the picture, the device supposedly drove the blue path. However, this has not been the case.Is there an explanation for the faulty display? Kind regards, Daniel
I'm upgrading a VC80X from Nougat to Oreo using a file sync rule and when it reboots Mobicontrol is no longer installed. I have to reenroll it. I tried updating the agent first but I get the same results. Any suggestions? I'm also fairly new at this thanks!
Hallo everyone I have a bunch of questions, and i dont want to make like 10 Posts so here we go: Device Kind: Android Enterprise / Galaxy XCover Pro Android Version: 11 Agent Version: 15.1.5.1049 I can't disable the back button, I can however disable every other button in the Android navbar, why? For context: I don't want someone to go back on a WebApp. I wanted to use the "single app mode" in lockdown when i go back to the lockdown screen it shows a missing permission (draw over other apps) warning. It seems to work but looks extremly ugly and the permission was already given at the beginning. Since that didn't work i tried to use a setInterval in a template to make it just launch that one app and the draw over other apps warning disappeared but when i go back it seem to sometimes not execute the setInterval which was set to 1000 ms, leading users to be in the lockdown homescreen which I don't want. Also happens with single app mode enabled. I can't manage some settings like display > navbar or changing XCover buttons. Which leads to manually changing those settings on every phone. SOTI seems to only allow 1 lockscreen profile as soon as i make a second one i can't access admin mode. why? Should i make like 20 accounts now for ever department? Screen timeout doesn't work. I changed it in athentication to 99 minutes it turns off in 2 minutes. How can I reset Soti Surf with a tap on the home button? there is an option which let's me delete cookies when I restart the app but how do i actually restart the app on lockdown mode? I could use the recents button but that seems really glitchy and unintuitive in lockdown mode and i want to disable the back button, besides tapping the back button about 20 times seems even worse. And last question: Where can I send my bill for debugging?
Hi, Honeywell CT60 with Android 9 - Enrolled with Android Enterprise as Work Managed Device Mobicontrol Version: 15.5.0.1021 Agent: 15.1.5.1049 We have set up a new ADCS-SCEP server in the background, which should simplify the distribution of certificates in the future for the use of the WIFI With one profile we distribute both "Certificates" and "Authentication". The template was created accordingly with new credentials, addresses, etc. After assigning, nothing happens on the device and the log says: Authentication configuration installed. Device configuration failed (error generating certificate from template 3) Device configuration failed ([certificates] Configuration failed to apply). On an Android Enterprise Zebra MC33 with Android 8.10, this profile is working fine. I have attached some pictures. Is there a known problem with Honeywell devices? How can we solve the problem? Here, the question that arises is when importing images, if I already have images loaded, is it possible to download them or manage them as a File Manager? If I import a new image, why is it not saved in the existing images and is added directly to the lines of code? Thanks for support!
Hi everyone, since there's no possibility to configure native VPN on Work Profile devices (COPE), we let the users configure their VPN settings on their own. We are pushing a device certificate via MobiControl. On fully managed (COBO) devices, the user is able to select this certificate in the VPN settings. Unfortunately, the user cannot do this on COPE devices, because the work profile has its own certificate store where the user doesn't have access to. Does anybody know how we can solve this problem?
I have a variety of Samsung tablets in my MobiControl environment. Some are on Android OS10, others OS11. All of the OS11 devices do not allow for remote control. The OS10 devices do. The same devices that worked in OS10 are no longer remote accessible in OS11. The icon for remote connect has disappeared from the console as well for the affected units. How can I get these devices back online for remote control?

Hi, We have an issue that my stagenow mdm xml does not want to install on my TC21 devices from Zebra.
