Hello everyone, we are currently managing several Android Enterprise devices from different OEMs, including Zebra, Samsung, and Blackview. We are looking for a way to generate a report or dashboard in SOTI MobiControl that shows: The current Android version on each device Whether an Android OS update is available If so, which version the update would bring the device to Unfortunately, we have not yet found a reliable method within the MobiControl console to pull this information across all devices and brands. Does anyone know how to implement this kind of update status reporting in SOTI MobiControl? Is there perhaps a way using Custom Data, Advanced Search, or any scripted solution via StageNow, OEMConfig, or SOTI Hub? Any tips or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I would like to disable the option for the users to lower/increase the volume of the beeps, but i can't seem to find the correct option within Soti. i tried the settings manager, and switched the sound settings to OFF, but it's still possible to change them using the buttons on the device. I also tried the feature control (allow device volume) , and this option DID disable the volume buttons on the device, but it also disabled the sound, and that's not what i want. So basically i need an option to increase/re-enable the volume when using the feature control.
Hello everyone, there is a way to create a phone book in Mobicontrol that is then installed on multiple phones. I don't want to do this with a vfc file, because I have to exchange it again and again with every new contact. It is best if I have an app with which the contacts are then also displayed in the contacts app of the mobile phone. I would then also like to maintain the contacts in this app and use it to synchronise all devices. We are still on Mobicontrol 2024.0 and I would like to set it up for Samsung devices that are Worked Managed. Many thanks in advance Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone, after Zebra retracted the "LifeGuard Update 13-34-23.00-TG-U00" update and recommended installing the "LifeGuard Update 13-39-18.00-TG-U00" for further functioning of updates, I packaged this with "Package Studio" to create a profile. Unfortunately, I received the message that this is not possible due to the maximum size of 2GB. While it is possible to realize this via FileSync, it is pointless for the use of XTreme Hub and the associated load balancing. UPL files are also no longer supported from Android 11 and higher, so that cannot be accumulated. I would be very happy for a solution, thank you in advance for any ideas.

Hello, I'm trying to determine whether it's possible to push encryption keys (e.g., AES, RSA) directly into the Android Keystore via SOTI MobiControl, so they can be used by an in-house application developed within our environment.
Hi! We're sometimes having issues when connecting Zebra TC57X to car chargers that we get a notification that says: SmartDeviceLink Core Component USBNo installed apps work with this USB accessory. Learn more about this accessory at http://www.smartdevicelink.com. We're also getting messages about "Android Auto is available in this car". We're using this type of charger: https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/holders/zebra/tc57/active-holder-with-cigplug-for-zebra-tc57/2106 Is it possible to block these types of pop-ups via Mobicontrol? It's frustrating for our drivers when they get this message blocking the screen when they are in need of Google maps for example. More info:Model: TC57X and sometimes TC57OS: 10-16-10.00-QG-U114-STD-HEL-04 to 10-16-10.00-QG-U142-STD-HEL-04Mobicontrol: 2024.1.2.1046Cars: Iveco and Mercedes trucks Please let me know if you need more information.
Hello, We have recently received new devices to our site in China and would like to enroll those devices to our SOTI MobiControl. We are having issues as Google playstore is blocked in China. Is there a known way to perform this action on the following model: Unitech EA660 Android 13 We have several Zebra devices enrolled in China using the StageNow app, is there a similar app for other devices? trying to install the App directly on the Android Phones keeps showing the following error- Uninstalling Application, Your Device is already Configured for Enterprise. This application will be uninstalled and your device will be managed within the Work Profile. we noticed the device seem to have GSM installed so we tried to use the afw#mobicontrol, but it is blocked as expected. Thank you.
We need to give users the ability to change the keyboard language from english to Canadian french without them downloading. I can see there is a setting in the managed app config for where the packs are stored. is there a way to download and push the packs?
We are working with a custom CA.pem, client certificate (.crt), and private key (.key) that need to be installed on Android devices managed by SOTI MobiControl. We currently install the certificates using a profile via Configuration > Certificate, and this part works. However, when our Android application attempts to access the client certificate (e.g., via KeyChain or during HTTPS request), the system prompt appears asking the user to allow access or select a certificate. Our goal is to avoid any user interaction and access the certificate silently within the app.Questions: 1. Is it possible to install the client certificate in a specific system store or trusted credential store where our app can access it silently? 2. Does SOTI MobiControl support installing certificates as Device Owner in a way that grants system-level access (without prompting the user)? 3. Can we specify the certificate alias during deployment, so the app can reference it directly via KeyStore or other Android APIs? 4. Are there any specific permissions or profile settings we need to apply in SOTI to allow background access to the client certificate?Current Setup: • Android devices are fully managed via SOTI (Device Owner mode) • Certificate deployed using Configuration > Certificate profile • Certificate alias is known and available in the app • Access using Android KeyChain or KeyStore.getInstance("AndroidKeyStore") leads to user promptWe are looking for a secure and silent way to access client cert + private key for mutual TLS communication in our app.
Hello, We would like to set the device inactivity time via mobicontrol, but it only allows us if we wipe data or if we play a media. We only want to set a delay and the device locks like usual. Is there a way to do so ?

Hi everyone, We are managing a fleet of Android devices (running android 11 and above) using SOTI MobiControl and are looking to enforce a security policy where only authorized devices can access a service exposed through our F5 firewall’s public IP address. The plan is to configure each device to send a unique identifier (such as Device ID, IMEI, or Serial Number) in a custom HTTP header with every request. The F5 will inspect this header and allow access only for devices with approved identifiers (using an iRule). We already had some iRules set up before Android 10 (Api level 29) when access to device Identifier was open.Is there any way to implement this? Thanks for the help.Kind Regards
