Hi We've recently installed a samsung tablet remotely in one of our shops. Basically, we're trying to push an URL via SOTI SURF... everything works properly except we keep getting the error message"Give draw over other apps permission" even tho it has been enabled. The URL works but the tablet itself will get back to the error message every x-minutes. The tablet itself was enrolled in our shop via #afwmobicontrol as we had to get it a 'Work managed device'. OS version : 8.1.0 (no further updates left) Agent version : 14.4.6.1001 Brand: Samsung SM-T580

Hi everyone, Recently i enrolled new device to SOTI On Premise server (15.0.1.1181) , and this notification come out : Security Certificate : Is appears your Device's date and time may be incorrect. Please correct the date and time then try again. I tried to upload the image, but it's take long time, so i just write down the notification. Anyone has experienced this issue ? Thanks & regards. By opening a remote control session to a device (we are using CK75 and CK65), the session crashes (for a network issue or any other reason), we can not open again a session to this device. SOTI Assist version is 3.0.1.15 (latest version). The error message that I get is : even with holding down the left-Ctrl key the session can not be started. Any experience about that and any solution. Thank you for your support Amine

Hi, for our shops we have to set a shop-specific URL and since I don't like to do it for every single shop (90 shops) I was hoping it would be possible to retrieve a part of the ip-address of the device which can be used as part of the url. The second part of the ip-address always stands for the shop number. IP= 10.1.2.251 => SHOP 1 For example =>. http://soti-XXX/login the XXX should be the second part of the ip-address the android devices are receiving. For example: IP device: 10.1.1.1. => URL should be http://soti-001/login (always 3 figures, since shopnumbers go from 1 till 99) Is there a simple solution to have this done, with custom attributes and scripting maybe ?
Hi All, I have created a file sync rule which copies a file TO the root of the device. But I keep getting the error: File Synchronization failed ... Device File = %sdcard%\url.CapMgmtServer File = \\ServerName\folder1\folder2\url.CapMgmt I'm completely new to this software. What could be wrong? File is accessible, but can't be delivered to the device. Hi, I want to use MobiControl Content Library to play videos for training users. The videos are short like 1 or 2 MB max. I can play videos when i am in the admin mode but when i go to lock down mode the videos won't play and the video file just shows like a white file with no app associated with it to run. How can I black list device setting and only enable the Bluetooth settings. I can blacklist device settings and use the setting manager to manage the bluetooth. but when it comes to pairing the pairing code is not getting prompt. Hi everyone,we work with MobiControl and Samsung devices, in Android Enterprise mode - full device magnament, with corporate catalogs in PlayStore. We have GalaxyApps app disabled so that no user can download inappropriate content such as games, unnecessary themes, etc. However, we need GalaxyApps for updating some Samsung system applications (which are not in the PlayStore), such as Samsung Calendar, Video library, maintenance app ... I'm a little new to this so I'm sure this will be obvious to some. We have a very simple profile, disable factory reset, and disable managed app uninstall. We have a issue with one of our devices in the field and we need to remove the restriction of the disable managed app uninstall. Am I better off 1. Clone the profile, rename with the restriction removed and un-assign the first profile to the device and assign the new profile to the device? 2. In the assign part, uncheck the device. Any help would be appreciated.
