Hi! i want to know if there is any kind of limitation creating geofences. Im talking about making 300 geofences and one alert of get in and other one of get out to/from a geofence (around 600 alerts) I have tried to search for information and I have not seen anything. The geofences and alerts should be done manually, right? Thank you!
Every time a user signs into the device and is assigned a profile with our application, we'd like to set the username automatically based on the shared device credentials. Currently, the app is installed through a package and not a managed app. Is this possible through the managed configurations? Using Android Enterprise & Samsung S10s/S20s.
Hello, At my company we are upgrading to Samsung Tab Active 3s on Android 12 enrolled as Android Enterprise. As of late, I've noticed a large amount of data consumption on these tablets. The issue is that we are on a limited monthly plan (1Gb a month) delivered by a hotspot we connect to via wifi and I've already had four tablets deplete the data due to Google Play activity (so a month's worth in 6 days or less). I have disabled updates to apps via Google Play via feature control, which appears to be effective. I initially thought this was based on the updates being sent by Samsung to update the OS but I can see that the data consumed there is listed separately. I contacted support and they suggested disabling background data, which has helped, but Google Play still used 276Mb just yesterday. I'm unable to figure out what is causing the amount of data consumption and am not used to this behavior as the majority of my fleet is using older Tab A T-350s on Android 6.0.1. Is there a way to see what Google Play is doing that is causing the data usage to be so elevated? If you have any ideas for me to try out or need more information to assist, please let me know. Perhaps this data consumption should be expected on newer devices and I should look into increasing the amount of data purchased per month, although I'd like to avoid that if possible. Thanks!
Hello, how to find the file path for sync picture from device to serveur ? Best regards
Good morning , I'm trying to enroll a Samsung Galaxy Tab active 3 running android 11 on a 15.5 Mobicontrol version on a private network without open access to external network Here's my question , is it mandatory to have an internet access during initial enrollement as the device seem to try to check something outside my network before entering the preliminary phase of enrollment Thanks you for your support.

Hi, I'm wondering if there's a way to deactivate the captive portal mode on the Samsung devices like we can on Honeywell or Zebra devices. It looks like also the auto reconnect is not working in this "constellation".
Is there a way to disabling the Set PIN in the samsung settings so that the Pin can only be changed in Admin mode or via SOTI? The work around would be to have a scheduled script running to set the device to the desired PIN but I wondered if there was a way of stopping the user from changin git in the first place
