Looking to add a button that would run a MobiControl script to the lockdown screen, this script would reach out to MobiControl and install a specific package. The use case is as follows: we have two packages that contain of our proprietary app but two different versions, Im looking to make it so people that are testing the versions can press a button that would run a script to uninstall the currently installed package of the app and install the selected package without leaving the lockdown screen
Looking to see if anyone has come up with a way to add a "Folder" or "Application Stack" that the end user can press and see more options on the lockdown screen. Im trying to reduce the amount of clutter on the main lockdown screen and app shortcuts together
I am trying to provide users with a brightness control to train the adaptive brightness algorithm whilst the devices (Honeywell CT60) are locked down. I can achieve this by using a UEMConnnect (OEMConfig) schema to restrict all of the quick settings buttons and allow the user to expand the status bar to reach the brightness slider but I cannot work out a way to do this with a Native lockdown. We do not wish to use Activity Suppression. A couple of years ago, we made a feature request for Settings Manager to allow the brightness slider to be used when adaptive brightness is switched on, but unfortunately it's still a case of using one or the other.
I want my logo to really just be the header on my lock screen. How can I do this?

Hello, we have updatet the MC Agent on our TC77 Devices to 15.2.0.1025, after this the Soti Settings Manager is not working, i've got an Error Message "APP is not configured please contact you administrator" but the app is configured and worked without any problems until the update. I tryed to install the new settings manager release 15.5.0.2 but same result. TC77 is running on Android 8.1 OEM version 01-30-04.00-OG-U13-STD. MC Version is 15.5.1 any idea thx in advance mark
New to using SOTI, we're currently setting up to use it for some educational devices (Samsung Tab A) with lockdown to restrict access to certain websites as well as playing a limited number of videos. I'm having difficulties adding a link to a locally stored video file on the lockdown screen. I've tried adding it as a file:// and movie:// link, but when you tap on the icon it highlights then does nothing. Once it came up with the option to select a video player, but still didn't start playing the video. I know the link itself is correct, as if I switch on "launch automatically on start-up" the video plays once I restart the tablet. Can anyone offer some advice on this?
Hello all, Here is it the config we have -> soti mobicontrol v 15.5.1 device zebra tc75x under android 7 enroll android + Actually with android +, for to have the device name we copy the settings db locate in data\data\ on an other public folder. If device name is changed for some reason, people make a sync file and the db is copy like this we have every time the correct name. We discover android entreprise since this weeks, and of course we'd like to get the device name because this field is used on all our apps.. I've look on device entreprise, but i can't find the same db settings :) due to security reason i suppose. How to get the device name on android entreprise ? And if device name is changed by some persons how to have the updated name ? thanks for your help
How to apply MobiControl trial test? I have applied ONE PLATFORM and now be able to log in, but it does not show MobiControl after login ONE PLATFORM.
I searched the forum but not found any info on these two errors. Anyone come across either of these during upgrade? Installation was successful with no errors on DB upgrade but deployment server would not start. First one, nothing has changed on the network. Using same FQDN in the upgrade wizard as the current server, firewall rules are all set per system requirements. Cert is valid. The other main error from the logs is with deployment server extensions not connecting to SQL db. We are using windows creds for this which works fine on 15.2. Hi Is there a way of reporting on historical battery percentage, a Data Collected (Battery Status) is collected so the data has been taken. The reason for the question, all of our devices are put on charge every night (Honeywell EDA51) and left on. Some of the devices seem to be dying part way through the day so I want to be able to see if the devices were charged to 100% and the drain rate over the day Thanks
Have several JotForms created and want to have icons placed for those forms on the kiosk lock screen. Bookmark option just bookmarks the website in Chrome app, but I'd like separate icons per form so the user does not have to search in Chrome on the android tablet. How do I do this?

Hello there We wanted to change our wildcard Certificate for Mobicontrol as well as 2 Exchange ERGs. Unfortunately the customer wasn't able anymore to generate a wildcard certificate like *.domain.ch The cert. looks like that right now: service.domainname.ch and in the SAN field they have entered *.domainname.ch MobiControl was able to handle it, but on the ERGs the mailsync stopped unless we've changed back everything. Has anybody some experience with such certificates? Can this work or should we generate a certificate for each service? Thank you for any inputs. Best Regards Beni
Hi Is there any way to configure MobiControl to effectively automatically drag and drop devices between folders, triggered by date and time? (Relocating them regardless of whether or not they are powered on) I need to move some devices from one particular folder to another in the early hours of the morning (when I'd much rather be sleeping!) One way to achieve this is to use a timed Alert rule, triggered by something that's always true, such as Operating System Version >6 in our case. However this is not ideal as some users switch their devices off overnight meaning that even if I set the schedule to every 2 minutes, users may be able to power on and start using the device before it is moved (which will result in an update to the app they've just started using and unsaved work). I also don't want to burden the deployment server with the load of checking hundreds of devices every 2 minutes...
