Hi: I m unable to make this work. As you can see below the agent was installed with success. I m deploying using the URL provided by the rule, same behaviour with the latest agent, SOTI server is reachable. Is there any pre-requisites to make it work in Raspbian? I m deploying several Ubuntu boxes and are running fine from scratch, no additional modules were needed. The elastic search log shows as stopped due not enough memory heap. (fatal error in thread.... java.lang.outofmemoryerror: Java Heap Space). There are some bat files in Soti folder that is supposed to set the memory heap (elasticsearch.bat, Elasticsearch-service.bat...) I am not sure which one to invoke and with parameter to request it to set the memory properly.
Hello, we have migrate mobicontrol to a new version and a new server. Now, I need to uninstall the admin console from our old server. Do you know if at the end of uninstall process, the server need to reboot ? Because, this server is used by some others application and can't be reboot actually thanks
Good morning all! I have a question in regard to the application permissions for MobiControl. Whenever in Device Owner mode wouldn't Soti be able to grant the needed permissions without any user interaction? We're currently up against the fact that we're deploying a lockdown profile to the devices upon enrollment. Whenever the device is enrolled and the profile is set before anyone grants permissions manually the user won't be able to grant the permissions after the lockdown kicks in place. The user does get the notification that there's a user action pending and after clicking the notification it show the MobiControl page where you can navigate to the setting required but that step is blocked due to the lockdown being active. I find it strange that even in device owner mode and enrolled using Samsung Knox/Android Zero touch the user needs to grant those permissions. We've currently scoped down to just system setting permissions but we'd like to leverage all permissions for the MobiControl app but user actions are definitely blocking us from that.
We are running Samsung A10S devices (Android 10) as enterprise enrolled, locked by a kiosk. One of the entries of kiosk is the agent itself, so the user may have access to Content Library. In the agent, the end use may select settings and then have access to the Server status. It is good, when the connection drops down to identify if there is any network restriction to our server. The issue is the end user may touch the agent status when it shows as connected \ and then the agent is forced disconnected. The devices are already set with dozen feature, what works fine. We just want to know how to block the user to command agent disconnection.
Hi, on remote control with Zebra Androi Device TC72, i am using the "_adminmode on" script to get out of the lockdown. Then, I want to exit the Mobicontrol app but I don't have access to the back button. I tried the script "notify Kiosk off" but nothing happens.
Good morning, I have a question about the certificates alias. The question is about how to set the certificate alias with SOTI, if possible: As you can see in the screeshot, the certificate alias received by the device has this structure: [devicemodel][devicesn][certificatesn]. Where does it take those information and how I can change it with SOTI? Honestly I can’t find where I can set that name inside SOTI CA template configuration. Can you help me?
Hello, looks like remote controlling Samsung devices is not possible while DEX mode is running on the devices. Is there a way to shut down DEX mode by running a script?
Hi, I want to disable DWDemo because it activates on its own all the time. what surprises me is that I cannot see the application in Mobicontrol. I found DataWedge but not DWDemo.
Hi everyone Anyone have seen this issue before? It all started in february. More than 5k Android tablet have this error at check-in (logs mobicontrol) now. Deployment Server error (Failed to retrieve and issue Client Certificate. Device may not be able to communicate on subsequent connections.) The enrollment time (in the Information tab) for this tablet is 2015-10-20. If we go to Certificates tab in Mobicontrol, we actually see that the certificate will expire in 2 months (April). The thing is that we checked all our deployment server certificate and the expire date is in 2030 same as the Mobicontrol Root. We are on the 13.4.0.5519 version Thanks

Hello, We have migrate our version of mobicontol to a new server with the a last version. All works fine. But now, on our old server when i go to license information in web console i see this information -> 1 day remaning. we know that and it's ok we need to stop this old plateform. My question is, do you know if tomorrow it will be possible to login logout to this server or not ? Because, on this old server we have 42 old devices we don't want to migrate these old device because too old and no possible to find battery and so on ... I need tomorrow to unactive some rules because the synchronization of the work is make by mobicontrol (mobicontrol take the file each hours). We have plan to change these old device by new but ALL will be ready TOMORROW .... thanks for all
Hi, A customer requires lockscreen authentication on Zebra TC56 by scanning a RFID-card. The Zebras are running Android 8.1 with StageNow and Soti Mobicontrol. How can I best solve this? I found the NfcMgr in Stagenow that allows me to enable "NFC on Lock Screen", but on the device itself after scanning the Stagenow barcode I get the following staging error: "NFC Enterprise Settings not supported". I'm using MX 9.0. Any ideas?
Hi, I did a fresh install using MobiControl1502Setup_1049_release on a server with Windows Server 2016. In configuration I changed the https port from 443 to 444. The Deploy Management Server is not starting, running System Health I have the attached errors. Also in the web console I have errors messages.
