Hi, Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem where they get a error "The Database is temporarily unavailable" We are on mobicontrol v14.2 and when I try to open some (not all) of our existing profiles i get the following error. Same thing happens when i try to upload APK files. Has anyone had similar issues?

Hi An application we were asked to make available appears to have been hacked and malware has been loaded into com.android.backupconfirm. MobiControl has flagged it but it cannot uninstalled or quarantined. The offending app (OneFile) has been removed. Device is a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2. The device has been hard rebooted, both via MobiControl command and a physical reset of the device and in both instances the malware is still embedded in com.android.backupconfirm. Any help is greatly appreciated.
By default, lockscreen is enabled on TC25 devices. We dont want to manually disable it one by one. Is there a way from SOTI Mobicontrol to disable lockscreen remotely?
I want to automate assigning 3000 devices on their specific group. I want to do it via rest api with my script.
MobiControl Version: 13.4. Device: TC51 and TC56 OS: Android 7.1.2 On earlier version I was able to create virtual folders and add "Host IP" as a device property filter. In fact, I have three of them working just fine right now. But when I try to add the filter this time, it's not there. Has it been deprecated, or is there something wrong with my installation?
Hi Is there a way we can add a phone number into Contacts of an Android Device and make it an emergency contact? Scenario I'm trying to cover off is where a user cannot remember their PIN on their device and they need to ring the Service Desk for a password reset. Dear Professionalists, There are 2 physical Servers and on each server, MobiControl(MS, DS, Mobi Search) and SQL Servers are installed. The SQL cluster Service is already built and running but for the SOTI Mobi Control, Is there any special configuration on MAU(MobiControl Administration Utility) or other for cluser service? Hi, I am curious if there is a way to create custom macros in addition to what's already available, such as %MAC% or %DEVICENAME%. I see in v13 scripting documentation a mention about setting variables but there is not much context provided behind where to use this syntax or what platforms are supported. My goal is to create a custom macro that is pulling custom data being collected from an ini file on the device and then to utilize that macro in my Lockdown code. I may be able to accomplish with the REST api's but haven't gone down that path quite yet.
Is there a way to play an audio file (mp3) on an Android+ device (also setting the volume)? I found the 'sendintent' script command for playing a video file, could this also be used for audio?
Is there a way to change the device name with the REST API? I am using the API already to move devices to different folders and change the user of a device. But I couldn't find out if it is possible to change the name nor other attributes except of custom attributes. Thanks for you help! Cheers,Andy
Can a Zebra TC75x be enrolled as a Fully Managed Device under Android Enterprise on MobiControl 14.1? When I try to use the AE agent I can only get this device to enroll in the Work Profile mode. Anybody have suggestions or instructions on what I am doing wrong?I am currently using the AFW#MobiControl on device setup. Thanks.
