    Failed to install payload 'AppWhiteBlackListSection' in profile 'JTI', because the device is not supervised. Solved

    Dears, I am trying to enroll new IPAD device , but it enrolled partially ,check the below message, when i check the log i found a message says : (Failed to install payload 'AppWhiteBlackListSection' in profile 'JTI', because the device is not supervised.)

    (Error sending message (type=24), General communication error)

    hello, we use MC 14.5.4 and have a big problem since 3 weeks with our Zebra Win-Mobile devices, Android and all other devices are not affected. All working WinMobile devices are online, but if i reset a device and move it to a folder, it goes offline after a short time and doesn't come online anymore.  The funny thing is, when i change the device name in the Soti Agent on the device, it comes back online, changes the device name on MC and then goes offline again. I suspected the certificates, but they were not changed.  The only change was a MC update, from 14.4 to 14.5 TLS 1.0 1.1 and 1.2 is also aktive on both deployment servers I hope someone can help me.. THX  log ERROR: Socket: The connection has been gracefully closedEVENT: SCC: Failed to connect to soti.schaeffler.com, port=5494, error=1

    Enrollment Windows 10

    Latest Android Enterprise Agent is not enrolling properly for newer Samsung Devices.

    MobiControl 15.2.3.1033 Agent 14.4.1.1064 Samsung Device OEM Version QP1A.190711.020.A505FNXXS5BTJ4 Samsung devices updated to the latest firmware are returning a Device APIiD of 840. This value is missing from the database table [MobiControlDB].[dbo].[AndroidDeviceAPILkUp] Which leads to the following error in the logs. 2020-11-17 18:02:03,527 (0x00000ae0) [ERROR] System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): The MERGE statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_AndroidDeviceAPI_APIId". As this was urgent I had a guess at what should be in that table and came up with the following. APIId = 840 Description = MCW.enums.DeviceAPI.SamsungKnoxV34 APIName = SamsungKnoxV34 The change works in so far as the devices will now enroll but does not display the proper API name in the web console. Is there a script that needs to be run to add these new API levels to the database properly?  N.B This appears to be the same issue as https://discussions.soti.net/thread/enrollment-problem-with-client-14-4-1-1064-on-server-15-1-0-3416/

    App deleted from Play Store, and removed automatically from device

    Hi,An app has been deleted from the Play Store catalog (I don't know why). Therefore, it has been deprecated from our work managed catalog. And it has been automatically deleted from the devices where it was installed. How can we avoid this? is this behavior normal? Thanks. Regards

    IOS MobiControl agent is not connecting to the server ( MobiControl Cloud Consol ) Solved

    Hi, I am trying to enroll IPAD device but after i install the certificate i try to open the MobiControl agent it gives the below error. (The identity of the server (s096155.mobicontrolcloud.com:5494) cannot be verified .Will try to connect to the next Deployment Server )   Note :I have generated new APNS certificate because the old is expired and i couldn't renew it , so i am trying to enroll the devices from scratch. Appreciate your help as i am having this trouble since 2 months with no luck to fix it.

    Android Lockdown - Tablet multiple Users - lockdowns Solved Locked

    Hi, is there any possibility to have multiple lockdowns on one Android devices for different users? For example the lockdown always asking for a password, after entered you're seeing what you're supposed to see. Or is it only User or Administrator mode?     Is it possible to force screen to be on, at all times?

    Hello,To understand my question a little better, let me first explain the problem, that led to it. We are using a third-party application, which main features are to keep track of routes and deliveries. For example, where & when is it delivered/collected, or tracing of a driver with the possibility of live updates. A requirement for most of these features, would of course be a (nearly) constant GPS signal.Here lies the problem. On our third-party application, the GPS signal is turned off every time we activate lockscreen (screen goes dark, while the device is still operating in the background). Meaning that our application is neither transmitting nor collecting any data.But this can be avoided as long as the screen stays on active. - Which leads to my question. Is it possible to force the screen on our devices, to stay activated at all times, not allowing our drivers to physically turn the screen off by pressing the power button?Meaning that as long as there is charge on the battery, the screen will stay activated, unless we as an administrator tell it otherwise. As a bit of wishful thinking, we would like to take it even further, so that the screen could switch between maximum brightness and minimum brightness, with the press of a button. I do understand this might would be asking too much, so a feature like that, is defiantly only a second priority. Hope someone can support us with our "little" problem.Kind regards Joachim

    Galaxy Tab S6 (Android EnterPrise)

    Hello everybody, I have a Galaxy Tab S6 device, I used to install Work Managed mode for this device (factory the device then enter afw#mobicontrol code when asking for Google account entry), the device is still active work normally with the Work Managed Profile. However, I deleted the device from the SOTI MobiControl system for a while.Today, I re-enrollment this device to connect to the SOTI MobiControl system, of course I still install the above steps, but the device no longer works with the Work Managed Profile. I ran the test by creating an Anhdroid Classic Profile and assigning it to the device, strangely enough, it worked. I still don't understand where the reason is.Has anyone encountered a situation like this yet, please help me. Many thanks!

    Removing updates from Chrome Browser Solved

    Hi  MobiControl server - 14.4.9  Agents - various compatible Devices XCover 4 and XCover 4S In order to diagnose a problem I need to uninstall Chrome updates but I'm getting "The app is required by your device administrator and cannot be uninstalled" This is regardless whether I have Chrome in the Play Store as a Managed App or not. Any and all suggestions welcome.
