    Hi all,  Will SOTI version 2024.1.1.1053 work with .NET version 8? Due to a vulnerability in the no longer supported .NET 6, we need to reinstall .NET to version 8.Thank you

    Need device serial number in Soti Surf website Solved

    I am needing to retrieve the device serial number from within Soti Surf.  I am attempting to make a call to an api from javascript and the macro will not translate from %SERIALNUM% to the hardware serial number.  Any ideas?

    Error while using learning plattform (LMS) in kiosk mode

    We use an internal learning platform based on an LMS. When using it via a browser (even on a regular work phone), the videos work perfectly. When trying to watch the videos on a SOTI phone (with kiosk mode), the following error message appears: We've already checked all possible settings but haven't found anything. Does anyone have any ideas?

    iPad automatic deploeyment

    Hello everyone,  I have a problem with the automatic enrollment via the Apple Business Mangaer. We are currently running on Soti 2024.01. We have bought an iPad which is provided via the ABM and the correct server for Mobicontrol is also stored there. But now the device is not displayed. I have already tested the sync function and checked everything again to see if one of the connections is not configured correctly. Does anyone have any idea why I can't see the iPad in Mobicontrol?  If you need more information, I will of course send it to you.   Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

    API Call /devicegoups/{path}/.. only works on fresh devices Solved

    Hi,i played around with API function /devicegroups I tried PUT and DELETE /devicegroups/{path}/customAttributes/{customAttributeId} Problem is that only free or new devices are affected, devices with edited Values will not get touched. Swagger Page on DELETE:Clears a custom attribute value for a single device group identified by its reference ID (recommended) or path. Requires the caller be granted the "Edit Custom Attribute Values" permission for the specified device group. Is there a way to get this work on all devices like the documentation says. Thanks for some infos about that

    Enterprise Binding Change Solved

    After our POC, we went from the temporary accounts to our corporate account for the enterprise binding for Managed Enterprise.  I see where it allows me to change the bindings on the devices, and I have changed the bindings in the enrollment objects. Question is, when I go to the 'Apps' page, and add a new app, all of the current apps are under the old binding and there is nothing under the new one.  Do I have to add all the existing applications under the new binding?

    Is it possible to downgrade the Soti MobiControl Agent version on an Android device remotely? Solved

    Hello, we are operating a fleet of Zebra TC56 devices with our Soti MobiControl WebConsole. One of our service technicians got a little bit overly initiative and upgraded the agents on some of the devices to a 2024.1 version. The rest of the devices run on the 15.1 version with no problems. While most of the devices with the upgraded agent are fine, some are experiencing compatibility issues, such as black screen in kiosk mode. Is it possible to downgrade the agent version on the devices remotely from the webconsole? Thank You.

    How to delete the 3rd Party App installed on the device after deleting the device completely from SOTI?

    Is there a way to delete the 3rd-party app installed on the device using a profile (where the app package was added to the profile)? When I delete the device from SOTI, the app remains. I would like to know if it's possible to automatically delete the app after deleting the device.

    Cannot remote to my TC78 in MobiControl Solved

    I just started to work with a TC78, have it enrolled in SOTI, can see it; however, I am not able to remote into it.   I checked the SOTI permissions on the device and everything is set correctly.  Any Suggestions?

    Enroll ELO Backpack in MobiControl

    Hi All, I'm trying to enroll the ELO backpack ES00I4 running Android 10 in SOTI Mobicontrol.Manually installing the MobiControl and using the enrollment ID results in setting up the ELO device as "work profile". But I want to enroll the device as "work managed".I also tried creating a QR code, but it seems that the Elo backpack doesn't support enrollment through QR code I can't seem to figure out how to enroll this device. Anybody experience with this?

    Allow Installation from Unknown Sources - permissions Solved

    We were given an APK by a vender to install on our TC77/78's.  I created a Lockdown Profile like we have for all of our apps.  In the feature controls I validated that "Allow Installation from Unknown Sources" was turned on.   When I open the app from the Lockdown screen it wants me to set permissions, I click Set Permissions  but then kicks me back to the lock screen. I can go into Admin mode and set the permissions and can launch the app from there but when I go back to User Mode but am not able to launch the app as it keeps asking to set the "Allow Installation from Unknown Sources" and then keeps kicking me back to the lock home screen.   What am I missing?
