I have about 100 Android+ devices of the type Samsung SM-G736B in SOTI, but their network preference is currently set to 4G/3G/2G (auto). I want to change this to 5G/4G/3G/2G (auto). Is there a script that allows me to force this change on all devices at once? I do not want to do it manually one by one.
Hello Team, We have an Client Request that if device are not in use they will move them to the Group and it will have lockdown that should show the message as ""The device has been deactivated for security reasons. Please open a support ticket in English by calling the number 23344." How we can acheive this ?
File Sync Policy Android Download from ServerThe documentation states that the complete path can be entered in Server File / Folder Name.This has worked so far.As of version 2025, the error message appears:The server path you are trying to use is out of the file sync "%Root%". Please use a path within the specified root. Unsupported pathBut I don't see any way to change the %Root% or input the Path on the local Server.

I am integrating the Cisco Secure Client on my Honeywell CK67 handheld scanner (Android edition). We created a profile for this device that will install Soti Mobile and also the Cisco Secure Client with the initial VPN settings needed for it to connect. All of this is working and the device can connect to our VPN and work as expected. However, the VPN-connected scanner in MobiControl is not showing as online and available (greyed out). In this state, I cannot monitor or remotely connect to it. I am sure a setting in the Secure VPN Client configuration will enable this, but I cannot find it. This is our last step in configuring these devices. Any help is appreciated.
Hello, after updating MobiControl to version 2025.0.1.1164, I have a problem enrolling Datalogic Skorpio X5 devices.Symptom:After downloading and installing the AE agent, the agent only connects to MobiControl briefly and then disconnects again.This happens cyclically.The device is shown as offline in MobiControl.The DeploymentServer log file shows this error message. Hello,When I click on the SOTI MOBICONTROL agent menu button, the menu does not appear.I Use ZEBRA VC8300 terminals under Android14.Issue is the same on all devices.If I click on the 'Profiles' tab it works, I can see the list of installed profiles.Do you have any idea how to authorize access to the agent menu?Regards

Hi, I'm working on some devices in which I want the devicename to be included in the url we want to open.I know we can use custom attributes which we already use in the same url, but I prefer not to put in the devicename for each device within its custom attribute parameter.Are there any options ?1. maybe directly in url ?2. with custom attribute but then it's filled with the devicename automatically
Hello. We started to test the shared device configuration for some of our devices and we face some issues. What works so far: - Integration with intune an intune app protection policies are ok. - Added Entra ID in Directory for MS Single Sign-on - MS Authenticator configured for Shared device mode - Devices are registred on Entra - MS Apps are working fine What's not working: Due to Conditional Access policies, we can't use Chrome to login on some internal websites which require MS work account (only MS Edge browser). We use Webapps pushed via Playstore for some our internal applications (some require work account to login, some don't). By default these apps are running in Chrome. As a workaround i tried to push MS Edge browser (configured as Kiosk) and disable chrome with Application Run Control. This way the webapps are launched in Edge. But the problem is that if i launch for example app 1, then launch app2, when i return to app1 i start from main screen. (When using Chrome, and having Launchwithrecents argument in Lockdown profile, you can switch between apps (they run like standalone apps) As a workaround for now i tried to leave chrome enabled, configured Edge as default browser, and add the apps that require ms work account on kiosk to launch with browsers:// url of app (this way it will open with edge). The webapps that not require ms work accounts are launched with "launchwithrecents://com.google.enterprise.webapp.xxxx (from playstore). Is there a workaround to setup Edge as "system-browser"? I know in intune this is done by default (have tested devices enrolled with work profile or fully mananged, and if Edge is pushed as required app all webapps deployed to that device will run in Edge. If i register the device with user account then we can get this to work if we enable Browser access in MS Authenticator App (no need to use Edge in this case since device-id and registration is sent to Entra). This option is not available if the MS Authenticator is configured for shared device mode.
Hello! I would like to have our managed devices reboot daily. In my research, it was suggested to use the Task Scheduler. I also found a list of commands and tried both: reset/H and reset/s. Neither test worked. Has anyone been successful in scheduling device reboots?

Hi everyone, We are using SOTI MobiControl with Zebra devices for quite a while, now we are testing some Honeywell devices. After registration and pushing some apps and configs to the devices we end up with the following screen: Here are my 2 questions: How to disable the notification of the MobiControl Agent that is is running? On Zebra devices this is not showing by default. Is there a way to create a configuration with Honeywell Enterprise Provisioner or is there a way to do it out of the box with MobiControl? How to disable the silent notifications from the Android System (after pushing a certificate to the device)? On Zebra devices there is a way to do it with StageNow (https://techdocs.zebra.com/stagenow/5-13/csp/ui/#network-monitored-message-enabledisable). I dont want to disable notifications at all (for all or specific apps), just these two notifications. There is no information for the enduser, they will ask what that means and this is not helpful. Hopefully someone can point me into the right direction. Thanks in advance. Best regards Börge
I am running on an issue where some of our Zebra MC9300 wont connect to the remote display after being updated. We are on the 2025 MobiControl with the latest agent and plugins. The devices are running lifeguard 14-23-05.00-UG-U03-STD-HEL-04. Any thoughts on what could be going on here? Edit: I have also tried with and without plugin.
