Hello Guys, longtime not posting here, because mobicontrol was working without issues.Untill now! I have a support ticket open regarding advanced configurations for device groups not beeing automatically be applied to devices in specific groups.My understanding always was that these settings get automatically applied to the "group" but right now support is telling me the opposite. You have to save settings of groups everytime a new device is added because only after "save" the settings are applied. Right now this is really hindering workflow because we manage timesynchroniziation over ntp settings made in advanced configuration. So if we enroll a batch of 10 Devices and add them to the group with "advanced settings ntp" , we need to navigate to the group settings and hit save once.This cant be the desired design, i cant think of way were this would be useful to anybody.Am i wrong?
I have made a profile for modern windows and added the Multi app Kiosk mode to it, i have setup the general tab for a user and the name, i have setup the Home screen with avaliable application of Modern/MS Edge , i have setup the start menu with the weblinks that i want to show on the locked screen but i am not getting any icons at all on the lockdown screen, What we want to accomplish is a kiosk screen that is locked & have multiple links on it to dif web sites and the user not able to log on, shut down,or change anything on it. I have created such for now using a profile with a lockdown & listed several of out link in that and that woks fine but for a technician to work on the unit WE have to take it out of kiosk mode in SOTI
Hi all, When I create new Configuration at Profiles, I have all different kind of options. Almost all of the device functionalities can be adjusted, but I cant find anything regarding NFC. I want to enable NFC all the time. Disabling it should not be allowed. I am using a worked managed Android device. Thanks in advance Ümmet
After we made an update of our soti version to 2025.0 from the version 15.6 we are not able to re-enroll CK75 devices only . (enrolling CK65 still possible)Any one know the root cause ? PS : for CK75 we are using .Ini file (that contain all information related to the enrollment rule.)

Hey Everyone, at the moment I am testing with an Zebra Android 14 device to find a solution for my "admin logout" button. It is displayed in my lockdown to leave it with the admin password. Since I updated the device to Android 14 the intent which is behind this button isn't working anymore. I use this intent: #Intent;action=net.soti.mobicontrol.admin.PASSWORD_DIALOG;i.dialog_type=1;endDoes anyone know which one I have to use with Android 14 or have another workaround? At the moment I put a .cmd file on the device which gets executed when I press to button. In it is the script: "_adminmode on". Unfortunately I don't have to enter the admin passoword anymore which doesn't fit the use case. Thank you for your help!

Hello, my needing is to log which user is using a company phone configured in a Lockdown profile. Any solution could be good, for example I thought if it's possible to: -assign different unlock PINs before entering the lockdown page or -automatically launch a webpage or another app that require a PIN to exit and go to Lockdown page or -set up multiple users, in a similar way to this discussion: https://discussions.soti.net/discussions/android-lockdown-tablet-multiple-users-lockdowns but I don't exactly know how to do that and I don't need a such complicated configuration, having multiple lockdown profiles and so on.. Thanks in advance

Customers created a QR code enrollment and sent them to the end user. They then requested the user to enroll the device but they reported that the usercan't scan the QR code. The user said that after tapping the welcome screens 7 times, the QR Code screen is not showing up on the device itself. Details of the device are below:Make and Model: Zebra MC9300 Android version: 10 MobiControl version: 2024.1.2 The customer normally deliver one brand new Zebra MC9300 together with the SOTI enrollment QR code to the end user. User will then open the box, scan the QR code and the device will be enrolled automatically. Hi everyone, i try to install some internal apk. on the SunMi V2s. (Android 11) Unfortunately the installations keeps failing. On the app catalog I can see that it keeps trying to install it but it keeps failing. I also use a Datalogic Memor 10, where it seems to be working just fine. (Android 10) Installing the same apps without SOTI binding works just fine. The setting with the Datalogic and SunMi are almost identical. thanks in advance Ümmet
Hi, I am trying to find a method of automatically moving devices that are not enrolled into SOTI in the UK. We have many phones stolen which are then wiped and they automatically re enrol into MobiControl due to Samsung Knox We have a Stolen folder that locks phones and I was hoping to get MobiControl to spot the incorrect Timezone and move the folder. I have looked at Geofencing but as the device doesn't effectively leave ther allowed fence, the rule does not trigger.
Hi everyone, I am using a SunMi V2s with GMS. As soon as I do a SOTI enrollment all of the internal SunMi functions seem blocked. (or the necessary apps are not installed automatically) The scan buttons dont react. And the printer test app is missing. Is there a configuration or setting to enable this function again? thanks in advance Ümmet
