Hello, since several days now, we have installed the mobicontrol on version 14.4.9.1034 All our devices are migrated WITHOUT problem.. I have only device zebra TC75X with android 7 enroll android + with agent on version -> 14.1.6 build 1018. But since today, i notice on some device, i see on web console icon for to make remote connexion (downloadable plugin) BUT for some device the icon is not present !!!! Device is the same, I've try to reboot device -> always same icon not present agent is update also but nothing change Have you got any idea ? thanks for all
Hello there, I need to download a folder full of different subfolders with log files. I use the remote control feature to see the device's storage : Is there a way to download directly the main folder and not just download each file one by one ? Or is there another way to get it ? Some information : - Android Enterprise - Supported APIs : RC Virtual Display, Work Managed Device, Advanced Android Plus 1.0, Android Plus 1.16 - Android 9.0 (Honeywell Thor VM3a) Thank you. HI We just updated our Samsung Tab A Android 10 with last released version of Mobi control agent and since this I get black screen when i'm trying to remote control it. I tried many thing like : - Feature control - Disable Screen Capture uncheck - Tried unlock in shell - Resetting agent on tablet with : _resetfailedrcdetectionflag Restartagent Nothing work. Also i'm trying to find a way to roll back agent without success. Do somebody have any idea ? Hi All, We have a problem with Remote Desktop. When we are trying to connect to a device, we can see only a black screen, and we cannot open the device screen with the power button. This what we have checked / tried: "Disable screen capture when browsing" in SOTI Surf settings is unchecked _resetfailedrcdetectionflag + restartagent does not help "unlock" does not help If somebody unlocks the device physically, then it's working fine for some time, we also can lock screen, and unlock it for a few hours, but after about a day, it's the same again. I would like to find a way without building a folder for each device model to apply the remote control skin to it. With our Zebra MC3300's the Auto Skin works but with Samsung devices the auto skin does not work. I looked at doing a virtual group but you cannot apply a skin to a virtual group. We currently have a lot of Samsung Tab Active 2 and Samsung Tab active pro devices and they all reside in the same folders within site groups. It would be nice if there was either a way to get Auto Skin updates or to be able to assign a skin based on device model.
I have a MobileDemand A1180 tablet running Android 9. When I try to remote into this tablet I get "Waiting for Screen" on legacy and just a blank screen on the web viewer. I have already tried the solution posted in this tread (https://discussions.soti.net/thread/android-9-0-stuck-on-waiting-for-screen-when-remoting-in/) but no luck. There is also another thread on this issue but it has no solution other than update your agent. I had this issue with SOTI V14.2, running Agent 14.1.7 and MobileDemand plugin version 1.16.10.121 This morning I upgraded to SOTI V15.1, updated the agent to 14.2.0.1069 and I am still having this issue. The tablet doe not prompt me for permission, and I even have the permission to remote in without permissions. Not sure what is causing this.
Hi. I have a trouble with using remote control on my device. It seems that is fully suported by device but, when I'm trying to connect, it doesn't work. I've tried using html version and with plugin. Both of them just disconnect from device. I've spotted that I'm no longer able to remote control my Zebra MC33's running Oreo on Agent 14.1.6.2018 - the remote control option has been replaced with a remote view option. How can I re-instate Remote Control as without this functionality the usefulness of the MobiControl is greatly reduced. Cheers, Jon.
HI, We have a lot of devices that shows a blank screen when remote controlling them. The Message on the screen is "Waiting for Screen". Example Device is a Zebra TC72, Android 8.1.0 - enrolled using AFW#MobiControl The Hawkeye Package has been installed on the device.
