Hi. mobicontrol 15.6TC52x deviceAndroid 10 We have a single apk that runs on our work managed devices When new apk needs pushing to device, I upload the pcg file (from mcpkg studio) and assign it in the profile. Until just recently, the device would get updated within like 5min... Not anymore for some reason. I've tried manually Checkin the device but I cannot seem to trigger it to update/install the new apk. I am not sure what triggers it. I have no Assign|Options set other than defaults. The devices are on a 2hr Update Schedule. It is now taking anywhere from 20min to an hour or more. It used to be no longer than 5min. Any ideas on how to get it out of the "Pending Install" phase ?

Hello, I'm currently enroll my devices with one QrCode and then use the device camera or device scanner. Now I need to enroll one type of device without camera and scanner. I try to use the MobiControl Stage Programmer app with NFC but this app only works on older version of Android - newer version doesn't have Android Beam. What's the best alternative to enroll these devices? Thanks.

Goodmorning, I'm able to import Mobisys profiles into android 11, but extra permissions are needed. Does anyone know how to configurate the permissions trough an *.xml fille or file sync rule. See attached pictures for the permissions which will be needed.
Hello everyone! I'm facing a minor issue with my Honeywell CT60 devices running Android 10. When I enroll these devices in Soti, the camera becomes inaccessible, even though no configuration or profile changes are being pushed. Performing a factory reset restores camera functionality. However, as soon as I enroll the device in Soti, the camera vanishes again. I've checked the device settings, specifically under "Applications and Notifications," and verified that Soti has permission to use the camera. I've tried searching for a solution, but haven't found any similar cases. If anyone has an idea to restore camera access, I'd greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!

I'm looking to understand how we can use MobiControl to deploy eSIMs to managed iOS devices, and i cant seem to find any SOTI documentation on it. We have multiple iOS devuces enrolled into MobiControl currently, and would like to roll out an eSIM to each of them. I can see an option in the device actions called 'UPDATE ESIM CELLULAR PLAN' which then asks you to enter the 'Carrier URL'. Is the carrier URL something that we get from the network supplier? And is this unique to each eSIM, or is it a generic URL for all of the eSIMs? If anyone has any experience with rolling out eSIMs via MobiControl in the UK it would be great to hear from you.

When I want to upload a folder in SOTI Cloud to set a download rule, it is not possible to upload the entire folder and that makes me go file by file, creating the corresponding folders. Is there any way to upload an entire folder to the File System?
Hi, we are having a long-lasting issue that at seemingly random moments, the Mobicontrol app crashes/restarts. We are running our own app in lockdown and single-app mode with Native activity suppression. The devices that we are using are Samsung Enterprise, running different Android versions (11,12,13). Currently having SOTI agent 15.4.3 Build 1054 or higher installed. Has been happening also with older versions (first thought it was because of agent version, but turns out upgrading didn't do the trick). We see that when the crash happens (our own app re-initializes), in SOTI the logs show 'device disconnected' even though the network is stable.
Hello, I would like do testing on windows modern testing for our laptops since we have had issues with the windows classic agent sometimes dying on us and we can't connect to user's laptops. Is there more documentation on setting up this up in the most secure way possible. Would our DC need to be put behind a firewall to allow LDAP connections for allowed users? Is there another LDAP service we can use?
Hello, I have a solution that consists of three steps, split between two packages: Package 1:1. (Pre-install, Legacy) Download a .txt file from ftp.2. (Post-install, JavaScript) Process file and identify specific row, to be used for package 2. (Verifies each row with build number and modifies a provision.xml based on it) Package 2:1. (Post-Install, Legacy), performing an intent, invoking the provision.xml based on result from Package 1. The problem is that if I send all these three steps manually via "Send Script" on a device, it works flawlessly. But when I have built it as packages in MobiControl Package Studio, everything works except the command: "mobicontrol.packages.install('/sdcard/Download/package.pcg')" It does not give any error or anything.And that is only when it is built in a package. Do anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this? Can anyone replicate the issue?Have a package with a JavaScript post-install that starts another .pcg file.
