Hi all, On our Android Galaxy tablets, which are all work managed devices, we require users to set a device PIN/Password for their screen lock but when using Microsoft apps such as Outlook, Teams, Edge, etc. it asks them to set another PIN. This could be the same as their screen lock but having to enter the PIN multiple times isn't ideal, anyway we can disable this requirement? Tried looking in the managed app config for the Microsoft apps and didn't see anything along those lines. Would this need to be a separate compliance policy? Thanks
Hello everyone i am currently working on deploying application policies for my organization. I would like to know which ports are used in the process of deploying application policies. Specifically, I would like to know which ports need to be open on our firewall for a successful deployment. Devices on our network are receiving the application policy and applying it without any issues, as I have uploaded the application to SOTI's server and am using the enterprise deployment method. However, when devices are outside of our network, the application policy is not being installed. When I check the Mobicontrol agent on the devices, it doesn't even recognize that the policy has been applied. I would appreciate any insights on this issue. Thank you in advance for your help! Hi, I have a shared device setup using AD to authenticate and microsoft applications in my lockdown. Is it possible to SSO using the "Shared Device Log In" details to the applications in the lockdown. Currently I have to sign into the shared device and then sign into at least one application before authenticator handles (some) of the other MS application credentials. ThanksAdam
one of our custoer have requirement to enroll their devices to SOTI (Windows, Android, MAC OS, iOS). but problem is those devices are already enrolled with an other MDM and they have no ermision to remove it. For Windows I have propose legacy enrollment but with so many limitation. Android and Apple I didn't find out any workaround. Is there any way to enroll a device to multiple MDMs ? at least Windows devices with full features.
There an app running on Android 13 that requires permission to send silent notification for a specific category. The android agent is 15.3.4.1113 running as enterprise. The end user, even with no profile or rules has access to change such permission. We are able to enable and disable the silent notification by script: afw_set_permission_grant_state it.overit.enelsaopaulowfm android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS allow The issue is that the notifications from this app has specific category and we are not able to control it by script or end user. The "diversos" that means several, comes enabled when we send the script : afw_set_permission_grant_state it.overit.enelsaopaulowfm android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS allow I would need to enable the permission to "Notificações de Sincronização" (sync notifications). Is there a way to send a script in order to enable a category of notification ? Is there a way to grant end user the control this permission by himself ?

Hey everyone, Has anyone seen where the remote control screen is completely white and you can't see the device? I can access the files, look at device information, and it behaves essentially like I'm remoted into it but I can see the device or its screen. I'm only see this on Zebra ET45 devices. I can remote into MC33x and TC72 devices just fine. The ET45's are new and I was able to remote into them yesterday. I attached a screenshot for reference. thanks in advance!
Hi, We have Samsung Galaxy tablets that are all under work-managed profiles, the Remote Control and screen sharing work just fine when using the device but for some reason only the Microsoft apps do not: Allow Screensharing (when sharing your screen on an online meeting it goes black, it is also a black screen in Remote Control view)Allow ScreenshotsAllow files to be saved (cannot save any photos/files sent through Outlook) We really need these working because we use Microsoft products almost exclusively (Outlook, Teams, Edge, Word, Excel, etc.) Again all the other (non microsoft) apps work just fine, we can screen share, Remote Control, screenshot, etc.
Apple device is enrolled into SOTI but unless the user has the SOTI app open the device is showing as offline. If the device is lost and I wish to track it I am unable to get to the device. If i want to remote on to track a location or do anything where I do not wish to speak with the user, I am unable to do it. Help please :)
We have around 1000 iPads and now want to carry out an IOS update.Is there a possibility in Soti to automate the IOS update and control the time, e.g. only between 10pm and 4am?

Hello, we get automated installed the WSUS Updates on the on Premise Servers. After Automated Reboot the Services from MC Deployment Service & MC Management Service was not abele to Start. It has installed the KB5025229 / 04/ 2023 on the 2019 Server. Windows Events was also not really helpful :( Application: MCDeplSvr.exeFramework Version: v4.0.30319Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. We are running on Version 15.6.3
We have Android tablets in lockdown (Soti Surf, Gallery, Camera, and Soti Settings are the only apps used) and have allowed USB access to the sdcard to pull pictures or videos by turning on USB sharing and USB Debugging allowed. We just want to keep the setting of transfering photos only (gives access to DCIM and Pictures folder). Every time the device is rebooted it switches back to the default of showing all the folders in the sdcard (when you plug it into a pc to pull data). Thanks
Where can i find the synced files from device to server in the SOTI cloud environment? In the rule it says %ROOT%\ but where is the root located? The other way around (server to device) you got a browse button witch opens a file manager.
