Hi Having an odd problem, with the newst version of Microsoft Warehouse App 4.0.26.0 its breaking Mobi Device Remote control and only way to get it back is to restart, but then when you start the app it breaks it again.... So, we control the version of Microsoft's Warehouse Management app by using Profile, then packages to specify which version we use. I have been trying to test the latest version 4.0.26.0. so I setup my profile with the new version and then assign to push it out to my test devices. everything goes as it should, I remote to my test devices and start up the new version of the app, at this point the App forces a screen rotation and then freezes in the remote control window. On the device its phyically fine, but the remote window is frozen and even disconnecting/reconnecting I can't get it back. I have to do a soft reset to get remote control back, but then once I start the app, it freezes again. Wondering if anyone else is running into this? we are using Honeywell VM1A and Honeywell CK65 devices. I would like to be able to upgrade the app with outhaving to physically touch the devices as we have several buildings in different areas. Thanks, Shawn
Hi All I can see lots of posts regarding remote control stays black on Android 13 and 14 Samsung devices and generally the advice is to start your RC session, once connected to the device it will show a black screen, use Page Up on your keyboard, followed by the PIN (you won't see it on screen) followed by enter and you will then be able to see the screen. This method works fine for android 12 and 15 devices, but not for android 13 and 14. The android 13 and 14 devices just can't be woken remotely - has anyone got any extra tips or know if an agent is available to support this function. In the past we've just been told this is just the way android 13 and 14 are, but since it is still in support and these are still supported devices (the OS can't be upgraded) then has there been any fixes or workarounds? The test device in question is SM-G780F (max OS is 13) We have Samsung on android 12 and typing the PIN on black screen is fine We have Samsung on android 14 and it has the same issue as android 13 - can't get past the black screen even after typing PIn in blind. We have Samsungs on android 15 and no issues. Any advice appreciated, but please note what I have already tried above and the comparison between android 12 and 15 above. Many Thanks
I'm unable to take over Samsung devices in SOTI MobiControl without acceptance from the user.Once the user has accepted my request i'm also unable to do any actions on the device.I'm only able to look. I need to be able to take over any samsung device with full control and without any interference of the user. I tried using several plugins but none are working.

We just purchased several of the new Honeywell CK67 scanners, which are extremely good. In Soti Mobile, when doing the remote control, we do not see the scanner physical layout. How can I get the layout of this scanner added to Soti Mobile?
I am integrating the Cisco Secure Client on my Honeywell CK67 handheld scanner (Android edition). We created a profile for this device that will install Soti Mobile and also the Cisco Secure Client with the initial VPN settings needed for it to connect. All of this is working and the device can connect to our VPN and work as expected. However, the VPN-connected scanner in MobiControl is not showing as online and available (greyed out). In this state, I cannot monitor or remotely connect to it. I am sure a setting in the Secure VPN Client configuration will enable this, but I cannot find it. This is our last step in configuring these devices. Any help is appreciated.

Hello, we have some Zebra devices (TC57, TC57X, TC58) with Android 10 and Android 13 that when you use the remote control, do not appear any notification to de user. But recently we have deployed a TC27 Android 13 device that allways show notification of remote control. Is ther any way to avoid it?
We are currently using version 15.6.5.1018. When I start a remote session on an Android 11 device, I cannot insert text into a field on the device. I was under the impression that this was possible in earlier versions. Does anyone know if this is an Android restriction or is this no longer supported by SOTI MC?

We are currently running SOTI V15.0.1.1181 attempting to configure some new Zebra ET40 tablets running Android V11 Build 11-23-29.00-RG-U03-STD-GSE-04. When attempting to remotely control these devices however I am getting different results depending on the package used. Using no package leads to View-Only access Using the Zebra_Hawkeye_RC_AE_1.6.0.102.pcg leads to remote control access but no visibility on the MobiControl client. Using the SOTI generic plugin leads to visibility and remote access but end-user has to accept the "Recording or Casting with MobiControl" prompt.Are there any suggestions on which plugin to use with these devices? The ideal goal is to have these devices be able to be remotely controlled without any user interaction. We do currently have Zebra TC52X devices running android 11 using the Hawkeye package without issue. We have also ran the following scripts: _resetfailedrcdetectionflag restartagent enforce_rcaccessibility 1 Thanks in advance!
I have set up some users as Technicians who have limited access to console functions but one area they have always had is Remote Control of all our devices (for support and for training remotely) Now I am being told that these users no longer have Remote Control, only Remote View. I have ruled out the device-- Admin users can control all devices, Techicians cannot control any...all they have is Remote View. All devices are Samsung Tab S4, Android 10, Work Managed, all enrolled using same enrollment rule, all devices in the same folder. Mobicontrol Cloud 15.5 I don't want to have to elevate these users to Admins, all I want to do is grant just those permissions needed to grant Remote Control access-- any advice?Thanks, Matt
