Hi I would like to know, how do I get noticed as an admin, when a client is switched off his mobicontrolled mobile, then removed SIM card, then used it somewhere personal. After that inserted back to the original mobile and Switch ON. He might have drained the data package on SIM which Mobicontrol not aware, because all these done while the mobicontrolled mobile is switched off. How we can address this issue? Thank you for your input.

I would like to create alerts using the REST api. I can see the rules/alerts related to a particular device using /devices{deviceId}/rules. However I don't see where I can create a rule/alert. I am running v15.1.2. If this isn't a current feature, is there a place I can make a feature request?
Hello all, I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to have soti send an alert when a specific amount of devices are seen going offline? Or maybe something that would give me a similar scope of devices going offline. Reason being, a few weeks ago we had an issue where our cellular network went down but didn't have anyone report it until the dead of night during a night shift. So, just looking for ways to be proactive for the future. Thanks in advance for any tips!
I am working with Mobicontrol 13.2.0.3081. I am trying to configure an Alert Rule that will alert me when a device has not connected for 30 days. I have successfully configured the Alert Rule and I have received emails, however the emails do not contain the device name. What do I need to add to the Customized alert message so the emails contain the device name? Mobicontrol version - 13.2.0.3081
When I set up a data usage monitor under Rules > Telecom Expense Management, the newer Samsung devices require an elevated permission for the device agent to monitor data usage. This is under device settings which are not accessible as all the devices are heavily locked down, single-use devices. Is there a way to enable the permission en masse through Mobicontrol?

Hi, I have created a device status rule to send an email in the Soti Surf app is not in foreground (see screenshot). I have tested with couple of devices and the rule does not get triggered at all. Can you please advise if I am doing something wrong. Other alert rules that I have configured seem to be working fine except this one. MobiControl version is 13.3.0.3217
I am looking for the best way to get an email alert each time a device is enrolled. We have devices returning from depot service from a shared spare pool. This means that I must delete/unenroll my damaged device before sending to depot, because I will not always be getting the same device back from depot. It is possible that a previously used and now repaired device will return from depot at a later time. I tried using the "Add new device" Event from the Alert Rule wizard, which covers the new device (that's never been enrolled with MobiControl) scenario. The problem is this method does not alert me if a device that has been previously enrolled is re-enrolled. I need both to work. As a workaround, we have applied a single profile to devices and are using a "Profile installed" Event to send email alerts to appropriate teams. This is not ideal, as we are sending a useless package just for the sake of an alert rule. Can anyone help me with a more simplified alert process that is triggered every time a device is enrolled?
