    Email SMTP with STARTTLS

Hello, i'm trying to configure email settings via profile for a static office 365 account. According to Microsoft documentation, the smtp server must use STARTTLS. In MobiControl there is only SSL or TLS and no STARTTLS option otherwise I have to manually edit each configuration. Is there any script to send in order to force the usage of this Security Type. I'm on MobiControl v 15.3 Thanks in advance Daniele

    Samsung Email Client Solved Locked

Good Evening, Another couple questions for the group: 1: Does anyone know if the Samsung stock email client supports Active Sync redirect 451? 2: Is there a script that I can send to the device that allows me to change the mail servers on a device that was manually configured Active Sync? The Managed Application of the Samsung Email client is not overwriting the old data and if you send a wipeapplication  script I am then greeted with MDM is blocking adding another account. (Even if I have the device in a group that has no restrictive profiles.) We are going from On- Prem to Cloud and i would like to make this as seemless as possible. The only other route I can think of is to use EndPoint manager as a MAM and SOTI as the MDM and push the Client portal and the Outlook app about a day before hand. Update: Not the route I want to go with as now it becomes even more cumbersome managing the entire scope of devices. I would have thought with a wipe application and then turn on the Application Management in the Playstore Portal for the client would have been the ticket. However that error of MDM is blocking adding account even when the feature control is set to allow - Or is set to block google or even all. Any thoughts? Thanks Jason

IOS BYOD Corporate Email Config Solved

Hi  I wonder if someone could give me some help with an issue i am having. I have recently setup a byod policy for Apple devices where as i have setup:- Apple Business Manager  connected it to our azure environment. added domain infomation VPP Profile APNS created managed Apple IDs for the devcies Enrolled devcies onto Soti Pushed down a web clip for download apps However I am struggling with the email configuration, I would like the devices to receive an email confuration so that the end user only needs to type in their user password however when the profile is uploaded to the devcie the only infomation passed over to the devcie is the mail server address which i manually typed into the profile. The domain infomation, User and email configuration do not appear to to hit the devcie. How to push email configurations to Honeywell Android devices ?

We use CT50 & CT60 and we want to push our microsoft email exchange configurations to these devices. But when i tried to add the confugurations to an Android plus profile and install the profile, i saw the device logs show "feature not supported (EXCHANGE)". In SOTI help doc it shows Active sync is not supported on Honeywell devices. So what is the alternate method we have to send email configurations to our Honeywell Android devices ? Please advise Our aim is that when the user open an email client from the device, it should ask only his user name and password and then his emails messages should be downloaded to the device from the mail server.

Adding Macros into an Email Signature

Good afternoon, We are required to add an Office 365 email signature for all of our engineers' Android tablets and I have been asked if it is possible to do this within Soti as our engineers will have issues adding this manually! I have managed to add a html signature for myself via an Exchange Active Sync profile which mirrors the company standard, however I now need to try and make this unique by user. According to the help files the only user Macros we have are %ENROLLEDUSER_DOMAIN%, %ENROLLEDUSER_EMAIL%, %ENROLLEDUSER_UPN% and $ENROLLEDUSER_USERNAME% however I am looking for a Macro that presents the user's First Name / Surname so we can add that to the signature. I appreciate we won't be able to pull location so I am planning to possibly push out multiple Exchange profiles with a target AD Group set for each location. At the moment I think it isn't possible but I thought it would be worth the ask. I have already mentioned that it may be worth using a 3rd party application to add a signature for all users but this fell on deaf ears. Thanks, Stuart

Adding Google Managed Corporate account to Android enterprise device Solved Locked

I want to add a corporate gmail account to devices which have been built under Android Enterprise.   The option to add the account is disabled and with a popup saying to contact the mobicontrol administrator there is no security option to enable (or disable for that fact) within Feature Control as I am used to seeing with an Android+ profile. How do I allow the addition of another Gmail account?
