Can you force a change on the device being managed to synch with the SOTI management server upon connection ? I have a hodgepodge of devices and sometimes the times drift on the devices.

After I updated the devices, users are reporting an error with "Google play services stopped."Do you have any advice on how to either update / deactivate the service.?I dont use a google account on device i Play, only APK files in profiles or Policy with google play apps installed.I aim for "no error on screen", so If I need to cancel using policies with Google play apps, in order to deactivate a service, then I can find the APK files for the few programs I need.
Hello there, I recently upgraded to Mobicontrol Version: 2024.0.1.1020 - after upgrade mobicontrol no longer supports native APN atleast not on my envoirement in the documentation it states that the profile does not work on MAPI-enrolled devices however all my devices are not enrolled in this way, yet the profile is not supported. So I am thinking about configure this APN setting using KSP, but without luck.Is it because the name here is wrong, the name defined has 2 different names. 1 in the overview and 1 inside the APN configuration.Does anybody how to make this work?
Hey SOTI'sI have Mobicontrol 2024, devices are mainly Zebra TC51 - ANDROID 8 - OS: 02-52-21 & MX 10.3.0.29 Zebra TC52 - ANDROID 11 - OS: 11-42-18 & MX 13.2.0.3 In my stores the users often place/forget terminal on counter, shelf, stock room. After 15 minutes lying still, a special built app sound an acustic alarm on device. Unless the device is in charger, then "lying still" is ok :) The app is license based and need "show on top of other apps" permission, so a bit manual to install and configure. Can the same alarm be configured with Zebra OEM config or other configuration ?
Hi, We have a problem, import_contacts_vcf %sdcard%\contacts.vcf 1 no longer replaces my contacts but only adds them to the existing contacts. Did something change in the latest MobiControl Agent version? We are running on Samsung A53 5G with Android 14 on latest version. MobiControl Agent 2024.0.5.1062

Good morning everyone! I know this question has been asked over the years, but I thought I would revive the topic. I am currently working on automating the process of building and deploying .pcg files to our server. I am currently on MobiControl 15.4 and all of the devices are Samsung Tab active 2's and 3s. OS versions running from 9 up to OS version 13. I have automated certain parts of the process, i.e leveraging the API to post profiles and packages to the server and setting up pipeline for deployment. The issue I am running into is the actual building of the .pcg. I have researched this form through and through, I have tried using the PkgUtil command line tool. That works fine, however, I need to be able to set certain parameters while building the .pcg file. For example, I need to set the location of where the file is saved and to set the option of 'Do not uninstall the file'. Has anyone had any luck with such a process? I have 10 of thousands of devices to make profiles and packages for. I am looking to automate this process as much as possible. Any and all information and help is greatly appreciated.

Howdy all, I am attempting to enroll some Samsung A9+ tablets. After successfully enrolling ~20 tablets, I have 7 tablets that will not enroll. I cannot seem to find where enrollment logs are located on the cloud server so I can troubleshoot further. Can someone point me in the right direction? I am on version 15.6.3.1018. I also have a support ticket in, but would like to resolve this myself if possible because it is faster. Thanks!
Good afternoon For enhancing our enrollment of devices we looking for a solution for 2 minor problems: - disable sound during enrollment, in other words set sound of the device to '0' but with the possibility for the user to adjust it again. - Draw over other apps permission is needed for Xsight, after enabling in settings this keeps prompting in SOTI Mobicontrol-app, this dissapears after rebooting the device but is slowing down enrollment. I dont know if this is something unique to pixel devices, or if it has affected others, but I am noticing on my devices, that the the apps in the Work Profile do not appear to be waking the screen, despite the phone vibrating and pinging to make you aware that say for example a message has been received. I have had a look in the notification settings, everything appears to be turned on for the app, yet the screen does not wake like the apps in the personal profile. Any help would be appreciated.
I am trying to find a way to: 1) Enable Developer Options/Mode 2) Disable Wifi Scan Throttling with android scripting but not having any luck. One of the locations I manage, seems to be having issues with wifi dropping but only with the Samsung Tab A8. The android phones we have on the same network do not have the issue. One of the onsite techs disabled wifi scan throttling and it seems to have had a positive result. If I can avoid having them touch every device to change this and instead can push it out with soti it would help a lot
