Hi all, I would like to delete a stored WLAN from the device without having to dial the device. Is there a script to do this? These are Samsung Galaxy Xcover 5 devices with Android 13.
Hi We have an in-house application which needs to have access to config files. I have tired putting the files in the sdcard/config/rf/ But on android 11 our application cant see this folder. Android 10 and below is ok. Is it the application that needs to do something, soti, combination of the two or some zebra xml? They are enrolled as DO in soti and latest plugin is installed.
Hello, I can't find a way to allow users to cast their screen to other device using Smart View. Our Galaxy Tab S6 Lite does include the preinstalled app, but I can't make it work. I added the app on the kiosk, it appears correctly but says "package not found" when pressed. I then tried to send this script in legacy mode : enable_system_app com.samsung.android.smartmirroring with no noticeable change. Can someone help us with that please ? Kind regards
Hello, we have an issue with our devices Zebra MC3300 that going in black screen even though they are connected to the Soti Server. The only solution to solve the issue is to restart remotely by soft reset in web remote session. if we try to power on or reboot by hardware button on device, nothing happens. Agent version is 15.3.3.1069 Thanks for support
Hi, We are deploying outlook web-clip to both Samsung and HUAWEI devices. We are seeing a strange feature on otherwise identical devices, where a status-bar or tab is shown on one samsung device and not another. We are not seeing this behavieour on any Huawei devices. We have tested both independent and full-screen web-clips. Same thing. Our only current suspicion is the chrome version, which is not 100% consistent. But since the Huawei devices are displaying outlook webinterface correctly regardless of version, it seems unlikely. It is the top-bar highlighted in red. Any ideas what is causing this to be displayed?
Hi, what could be the cause the following happens? I create an app catalog rule which enables certain PlayStore apps, then assign that rule to a device, and open up the MobiControl agent on the device and navigate to the "App Catalog" page. The apps are displayed there with a "Mandatory" text since that is what I selected, plus there is a "Free" button on the right side of each app. However, the apps are not installed automatically. The device has been enrolled with an Android Enterprise rule, has an Android Enterprise profile assigned to it (and the non-playstore app which that profile specifies is installed just fine), and the app rule is also Android Enterprise. Any ideas? Is this perhaps just a matter of patience? I.e. do I have to wait for a certain time for the apps to be installed? Regards, Daníel
Hi, Are there any known issues with the latest android enterprise agent 15.3.2.1042. The upgrade via mobicontrol is not working for us. We have TC70 and TC72 devices and the upgrade is not working via Mobicontrol on none of our devices. If we do a clean install it will install the latest agent. This is via afw#mobicontrol.
Hello all, I would like to add apps to our Mangaged Play Store that only a certain group of devices can see. The other apps should then be visible to other devices. Does anyone here have an idea how I can restrict this?
Does anyone have issues with Android devices failing to initiate TCP traffic behind enterprise firewalls after the QUIC (UDP/443) is dropped? I have Zebra devices with an Enterprise Binding to the Google Play store but they fail to present the opportunity to download the app in the Play Store. It just states the application isn't available in the Play Store application. The expected behavior for the QUIC protocol failing is the device then starts to communicate on TCP but some of these Zebra devices never do. Our company blocks UDP 443 traffic to Google destination hosts.
Might be a silly one but is there a way of turning a tablet on that has been turned off? Is there a script or anything it has mobicontrol installed on it.
Hello, a few weeks ago I had a problem installing Velocity package in a Zebra with Android 11 because I try to copy wldep files to this folder - %sdcard%\Android\data\com.wavelink.velocity\files\ - and from what I understood after Android 10 SOTI doesn't have access to the application folder. I search a little bit and solve the problem copying the wldep file to this folder - enterprise\usr\ and then apply a script to change file permission. Now I have the same problem with a Honeywell device (Honeywell CK65 Android 11) and I try to do the same, but it seems that enterprise\usr\ folder doesn't exist on the device. There is another folder I should copy these files in Honeywell?
How can i set File and folder permissions for an app we installed for production When the device isn't on soti I can change the settings to "allow management of all files" when the device is managed by Soti I can't adjust it, it is greyed out on "Allow access to media only"
Hi, sorry for the bad title. Can I use the same scanner profile for all my Zebra MC3300X, but with different applications running depending on which scanner it is. I have them sorted per application in different organizational units.I have soti surf running on all of them and different web applications.I don't want to give the user the option to choose which web application to start. I find it not practical to have 6 profiles just for different web links we use on the scanners, but with the same basic configurationI have the newest version of Mobicontrol running and also the newest Android Enterprise agent. Are there best practices I'm missing or maybe a setting i can use for this?In any case, thanks for reading and your helpBest RegardsFlorian
Hi - 1.When listing all devices within mobi control I have added in additional columns to view firmware version, lifeguard status, build version etc - a number of columns are showing as N/A do I need to enable an option on the devices to view these stats within soti? (device WT6300) 2. Remote access to WT6300 - when I remote to a device I cannot enter administrator mode? nothing happens when clicked on 3. The reason for wanting to enter admin mode remotely is to view sdcard/android/data files so I can edit files remotely , to edit the enterprise browser folder. I get a blank page at the moment. Regards Jag
Hello, Is it possible to have one profile with one package that only installs in Android 10 and another package that only installs in Android 11? I have a problem with Android 11 when I try to copy some files to the application folder (not possible after Android 10) and solve it, creating another profile (a clone) with a different package that have a different path to these files and assign only if Android > 10 and existing profile assign only to Android 10. But now I have two similar profiles and I want to just have one. Is this possible?
