Hello! Trying to find the best way to make alarms work, and would love if anyone has any insight on what has worked (or doesn't). The goal: Android Device is used by a Supervisor for a Security Shift. We want to set various alarms and reminders at certain times (i.e. Verify all officers clocked in at whatever time, Check certain site for whatever, Start fueling vehicles). However, we DON'T want these alarms to be accessed by the user and altered, silenced, or otherwise changed. - The included clock app on the phone allows a schedule to be set, but I'm unsure the best way to lock it from being changed by someone other than the Admin. - Using SOTI's send message feature, is there a way to set those messages to be automated (and it's not on the device itself for anyone to mess with...). - Any other ideas that might work well?
Hi dears We have applied the "Wipe" action to make factory reset in some Samsung A11 The device join in "loop" and the agent status have repeatedly change "connected" and "disconnected" and the device is unusable And not is posibble uninstall Mobicontrol Try provide "Admin Mode" in the device for enter in settings and select the "Factory reset" but option has disable, show a gray color. Try delete inscription and device enter in lock status and the screen show "Please enter Enrollment ID..." Device: Samsung A11 - Android 11 Version Agent: 15.3.0.1006 Thanks for help
SOTI Version: 15.4.2.1020 and Agent Version 15.3.0 build 1006 Android 10 device are not registering as enterprise work managed. The method I use is to wipe the device and enter when prompted for a google account on device setup, insert AFW#mobicontrol and then register my portal address. This works for android 11, for Android 10 it doesn’t te profile registers as corporate personal? do you know how I can change the profile to enterprise work managed? I would manually upgrade the devices to 11 however I have a large amount to upgrade.
Hello, I have a Lockdown profile where I add "Scannow" via the configuration with Launch: com.symbol.tool.stagenow That works fine on my Android 8 devices, but now I have new Android 11 ones and there the icon on the lockscreen says "not installed". Scannow as such is installed and can be started manually. So I assume there is now a different way to start it, can me someone tell, how? Thank you
Hi Guys, I have around 700 Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 which I want to manage with MobiControl. They got the "Bixby" key which should be the power on / power off button?Is there a method to change this button with MobiControl? I saw a thread from 2020 where this was not possible. Alternatively is there a way to add the Power Off Button as a shortcut to the lockdown window? Do you guys know how I can disable the "samsung shortcut bar" which you can see on my picture attached? Hi, I have been testing the latest agent on multiple devices as we haven't upgraded our agents in a couple of years and there are some Javascript functions we'd like to have available in later agents. I have noticed in the past that when an agent upgrade is initiated through the console, the agent on the device will close and then re-launch when the new agent is installed. This causes the lockdown kiosk to go away and then re-enable which moves our custom application to the background and could cause someone to have to login again. If a user is in a certain event a transaction could be interrupted, etc... and we could have data loss. I am looking to see if anyone has best strategy for managing agent upgrades. We have around 3800 devices in around 70-80 groups based on customer. I know can control upgrade per group, but is there a way to initiate the upgrade per device? This way I could at least determine if a user is using a specific device before starting the agent upgrade. Not ideal since there are 3800 devices but this is where we are at. Adding that since I haven't changed the compatibility for agent upgrade in a couple of years, I'm unsure if the upgrades still work in this manner. I wish I could test the upgrade process through the console itself instead of sideloading. Maybe that's possible by briefly changing the compatibility and then making some DB changes to change it back? I'm also a little handcuffed on setting the compatibility to the latest agent as well as that will put all 3800 devices as non-compatible immediately which I have noticed halts the ability for devices to receive Profile changes. I'm using MobiControl Cloud version 15.3.3.1065 to manage Zebra TC21 devices running Android 10. Chrome is the only browser installed. I need to open specific web sites in Chrome from the lockdown menu. I discovered that browser:// and browsers:// do not work unless I add Launch://com.android.chrome to the lockdown menu. Using an intent to open the web site in Chrome also does not work unless Launch://com.android.chrome is added to the lockdown menu. Why is this happening? I don't want Chrome on the lockdown menu.
I've got a issue where when speed controls are activated the tablets we use freeze and have to be restarted to come out of it? It's only recently happened, it was fine a month ago. Anyone else had this issuse or knows of a fix? Tablets are: Samsung A7 Lite

Does anyone have a link to a Chrome APK that works for setting up an app policy? I'm trying to set up an Android Enterprise policy so that we can use a managed app configuration on Chrome. However, every APK I've found online either fails to upload, or when you try to switch on "enable managed app config" you click on the import button and nothing happens.
Hi guys, it's possible to set chrome to default browser on any kind of Android 12? I see this in your docs DOCS that is possible using soti surf but I need chrome :S in all my devices. when I detect activity starting chrome get this: com.android.chrome/com.android.permissioncontroller.role.ui.DefaultAppActivity but when try to set set_default_browser com.android.chrome/com.android.permissioncontroller.role.ui.DefaultAppActivity dosn't work any ideas?

Hi there !i'm currently deploying a new batch of 20 TC21 for a customer with Android 11.On some of them, after having installed MobiControl agent + Plugin and registered them, i have a status of the Profile Deployment on "Partially installed" ("Installé Partiellement" in french).If i'm looking in details, the Lockdown option in in status "Install Failed", no problem with the 'Authentication'.On some of the TC21 in error, i was able to finally deployed the Profile correctly after one or two resets of the Handheld. But on 3 of them, no way to do it. I don't understand why i had this error on some TC21, and why on some others, everything went fine ?Thanks for your help.See screenshots attached :)Best regards
