Hi, I've got a query and could someone please advise whether it's possible to achieve. First of all required details: Mobi Control 15.4 Agent version 14.5 or higher Android Enterprise At one of our sites we're having issue with cellular signal inside the building, which is affecting devices (Samsung A02, A03 and Moto G6) but we've got there Wi-Fi available, hence I've created new profile (currently I'm testing it with Samsung A02 device) and added Wi-Fi network (screen shots from settings attached). Ideally I'd like these devices to connect to Wi-Fi while they are inside the building, then once driver leave the building switch to cellular and then once driver come back and enter the building switch again on Wi-Fi. During my testing I've applied new profile on my test Sam A02 device (Doze mode is disabled within the profile) and when I've switch off mobile data, the device is keeping connection to that Wi-Fi, however, when I reboot the device it is not automatically connecting to Wi-Fi on start up (even if settings on the device for this Wi-Fi are set to Auto reconnect). What I have spotted that is when I've changed Wi-Fi settings on the device (Advanced/Metered network) from Detect automatically to Treat as unmetered, my test device is automatically connecting to this Wi-Fi after reboot. Could you please help on 2 below queries: - are there any settings within profile to force device to treat that Wi-Fi as unmetered - or is it possible to make changes on the device for Wi-Fi from detect automatically to treat as unmetered using script? If yes, would you please point me in the right direction how this script should looks like? Kind regards, Norbert
Has anyone been able to setup and capture RD Client with remote machines configured on Android in order to redeploy the app to multiple devices? We are trying to deploy the application to our scanguns without having to manually configure the application each time.

We keep getting the notification that there is account action requiered.When trying to do this, I get the Google login screen where the e-mailadres field is already prefilled with "Android Enterprise". When clicking continue, it gives an error: fill in a valid e-mailadres. We are unable to change this field when clicking on it. (No keyboard is appearing and also no cursor, so I guess you don't need to change this). If I check "accounts" on the phone, I see 2 "work" accounts: What can be the issue here? When I open adminmode the agent restarts and the remote access connection is lost then the device back again online OS Version: 6.0 Device Kind: Android Plus Agent Version: 15.0.1.1051 Remote Control Version: 1.18.2.100 OEM Version: 82.01.16-(0139) Model: CX75 AC0 is this issue related to the old remote control version Thank you for your support
Hello, I'm using a zebra tc51 and i have a website and we want to scan the barcode to the check box and the site shows the product info. I set up a new datawedge profile for surf and for the first time it's working, but if i go another application and go back the barcode reader doesn't work.So the question is, is there any other setting that might help or maybe I need to set something in the profile?
Hi, I'm having problems deleteing custom data. I open open group details --> configurations tab --> Custom Data There I can enable or disable Custom Definitions.When I trie to delete it (hamburger menu or the garbage bin), I get the message:"Custom Data with name xxxx already in use" Is there another procedure te delete this or any tips? HelloWe have new zebra TC26 devices running android 11 with mobicontrol 15.3.3.1065 agent 15.1.3.1071. We are having issue with remote control of the devices. If device lockscreen is active RC is view only. After user unlocks screen we can access .devices.with RC. added screenshot of the screen.
Hi everyone does anyone know how to change the lock screen background image and wallpaper on Samsung TAB A's ? i know there are no settings in soti to do this so i've been trying to do it with scripts and file sync using file sync to copy the jpg to the device, then running this script: set_wallpaper %sdcard%\wallpaper1.jpg works on android 9 & 10 devices but not on android 11 file copies ok on android 11 but the script does nothing any help would be greatly appreciated
Hello dears, So I am using Soti MobiControl on our company honeywell devices with lockdown profile installed , recently I have added WIFI and Bluetooth. Through launch:// , I want to add android VPN setting ( setting> More>VPN) i tried the same method i used on wifi and bluetooth but it doesnot work i get this message (activity not found). appreciate any help.
Hello, We are create a new file sync rule and after we tried to send this rule to the device, but after we send the file the following script didn't run. we use this script: chmod 777 /enterprise/device/settings/datawedge/autoimport/dwprofile_surf.db Maybe we need another script or what could be the problem? thanks
I'm relatively new to work profiles and how they work.I have an oppo Android 10 device enrolled in Soti as work profile.Yet only a few apps are showing in the work environment which include: Chrome, contacts, Files, Google, Mobicontrol and Playstore.I have 2 questions regarding apps.1. How can I add the standard camera app (available in Personal) to my work profile?2. What are the methods of adding other apps to the work profile (not already present on the device)- Custom apps- Playstore appsHope others have more experience with this. Thanks in advance.

On a couple of these devices we are not using any Lockdown pageDesired Outcome:Do not want the user's to access Android SettingsWant Admin to be able to use the Android Settings (in case something needs to be changed in settings)On first try I went to Application Run Control in the Profile and blacklistDevice Settings %settings% which removes the gear all-together However now Admins cannot access the device settings because the gear is gone How can I approach this: want the admins to access device settings but users not access device settings One other note: when I blacklist list, is it stopping any of the internals from working properly? or is it just hiding the Icon??
Hello community, in some apps like Microsoft Teams you can't dictate texts. The microphone icon is missing and I cannot activate speech to text in the settings when the devices are in lockdown. As soon as I am in admin mode, I can activate this function. Does anyone have a solution for me?
