Updating TC 57 OS to most recent LG U44, after the update i notice a lot of application is "uninstalled" talked with Zebra support and they are saying its because i enroll my devices through SOTI AFW#, and the apps are not uninstalled it;s hidden. I tried sending a script to enable them but still shows as "uninstalled"
Good evening, I have to set up the SMTP server in order to enable MobiControl to send automatic E-Mail notifications with an alert rule. Until a few months ago this was done by SOTI support with a generic SMTP configuration, but now the support is telling me this is no longer possibile on newer instances because of the GDPR regulations. For this reason I am now trying to set up the SMTP using a gmail account, but there is no way I able to make ti work... This is how I'm configuring it by following the Google official guidelines: I tried every "Authentication Type" available, they all fails when I try the connection by clicking on TEST CONNECTION. I also generated the app password within the Google account "Security" section and put it in the "Password" field instead of the normal google account password, but nothing. Am I missing something? Hi, I have a requirement to be able to identify devices that were on a particular site in the middle of the night (outside of my working hours) based on the WiFi IP address that they had at that time.The obvious solution seems to be to set up a filter group to find those with the octects of interest and set a nightly report to run on this filter group. Whilst setting up the filter group is easy and works, every report I have tried won't work on a filter group.Can anyone suggest a workaround? I suppose I could run a report containing the IP addresses of all devices each night, then filter the results with a spreadsheet in the morning, but I'd prefer a more automated method.

Hello. Does anyone know of a way to uninstall an agent plugin from a currently enrolled Android 10 device without re-enrolling all devices? When I enrolled a bunch of Kyocera_DuraForcePro2 devices. The device they picked up Kyocera_KC-S302_sotienterprisemdm_1.20.0.102.apk When it needed to grab:Kyocera_DuraForcePro2_sotienterprisefullmdm_1.19.2.118.apk I have figured out how removed the plugins from the server. Now I need to uninstall the plugin from the device and for an upgrade using the profile on the server. I was also looking for a way to do this by scripting but I'm not sure if that's possible.

Hello, When our instanced was setup. I installed multiple plugins because I was trying to get our Kyocera DuraForce Pro 2's devices to work correctly. Unfortunately, this has now become an issue as now when I enroll these devices. It doesn't always download the correct plugin and it's causing a lot of issues. How can I remove these plugins from the instance and just keep the Kyocera Duraforce Pro 2 plugin? I have opend a ticket with support for this among other issues that I'm currently having, and they can't seem to answer my questions or this question specifically. Thanks for the help in advance..
Good Afternoon, We have a couple of cell phones in Soti where we have applied a lockdown profile. Problem is that the screen goes semi dark after 20 seconds and full dark after 30 seconds. Any idea on how to extend the uptime of the display time of our devices. Can't find any Restricion in Feature Control or Lockdown. Hello all, We are planing to set up a second deployment server in the DMZ to be able to use auto enrollment.With that we will also use wildcard certificates. Quick sidenote: We mostly have Samsung devices and a couple of Zebra enrolled as Android Enterprise as well as Classic. Server Version: 15.5.2.1003 I have a few questions regarding this.1, We have separate wildcard certificast for internal as we have in public (DMZ) use. Is it possible to use different certificates on our 2. DP? 2, Useing wildcard certificates, I won't have to wait up till all our devices check in after I install the certificate right? Because the root certificate should be already known by the devices. 3, Plese correct me, if I miss a step or make a wrong statement but the installation should look like this: a, Installing only the deployment server with the exact same version and build nr. as the MS Server b, Allow communication between DMZ and LAN on ports 5494,5495 and 443 (Do I need 1433 from DP to the SQL too?) c, Edit Seondary Agent Adress and Port + Alternate Deployment Server and Port in the Admin Utility on the MS Server d, Install and bind certificates. 4, If I use LDAP Auth for the device enrollment do I need some extra ports? Hello all, My configurtation of server of Mobicontrol is on version v15.5.1.1010 I have a profile android classic (Android+), who contains some phonecall restriction (black list / white list). Also, we disabled mms and sms into the profile. Actually, I try to migrate to android entreprise work managed. I create a new profile work managed / go to configuration / add .. but i can not find any option for phone call .. Anyone have idea ? thanks for your help

I have a zebra TC77 device that is enrolled and locked down and everything seems perfect, except for the fact that if you hold the home key you will get the popup for Google Assistant. I have no idea why it is happening with this group of devices because every other group I have deployed this way is not having this issue. (see photo) I am super new to Soti so I assume I am missing something but I am hoping that it is something that I can just turn off on the Soti side and not have to do on the Zebra StageNow side. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Tim
What is the roadmap aboout no longer depending on dotnet core 3.1 ? as the current versions of mobicontrol and xsight still depend on it, altough microsoft is no longer supporting dotnet core 3.1.
