The Pixel 5 phones we are using do not accept the battery optimization script I had found. batteryoptimize allow|enable <app name> The logs says... Script command is not supported by device (batteryoptimize) I have disabled "allow doze mode" in the feature control profile. Is there a different script that I am unaware of or a different setting? Device: Pixel 5 Mobi Agent: 14.5 Mobi Console: 15.2 (cloud)
Recently installed MobiControl 15.3.2. Fired up the MobiControl Admin Utility and receiving this message. Certificates status test failed. Found 1 problem(s) Some system certificates, required for secured device enrollment, were not published to the SOTI Enrollment Service. If this computer has access to the internet, these certificates will automaticallypublish to the SOTI Enrollment Service when you click the Aplly button. .... What is the issue here? The computer is a server with internet access. I have clicked on Apply button but still receive this message
Unfortunately the bypass code from the device details is not accepted on our iOS devices, when entered manually. What can be the reason for this? What are the preconditions to use this bypass code?
Hi, maybe a simple question. But is there an option to leave or deactivate the lock down modeon a windows machine? MC version: 15.1.2.1035Windows agent version: 15.1.2.32 For example: My windows device (10, classic) doesn't connect to my MC server. When that happens i justdisconnected the connection within the windows agent and reconnected it again. That worksfor me. Sometimes the agent is not listed in the system tray but a restart helps sometimes. But when i am in a lock down mode i have no access to the system tray to start the agent fordisconnecting and connecting. So is there a way to disable the lock down like on android devices? A little information about my lock down profile: File explorer is allowed driver C:\ is completely blocked/disabled (used a script to set registry entry) Template is almost like the default windows classic template Thank you!

Hello, Currently we try to enroll Samsung tablets in SOTI after a very good experience with Honeywell CT60 devices knowing almost nothing about the "Samsung world".Now, after some days we are still struggling to find a "fast and clean" solution to stage/provision these devices.The first surprise was the "SOTI MobiControl Stage Programmer" where on the WiFi options we had only OPEN/WEP/WPA association modes without the posibility to chose 802.1x EAP (required in our environment)...so a no go scenario?After this we've tried to use the "afw#mobicontrol" method which has worked but based on the agent type (Agent Version 14.5.3.1017) with limited functionalities (Supported APIs Remote View, Work Managed Device)I would really appreciate from somebody with a know-how experience a "little help". Thanks!
Good Morning, If I remember right I can do a silent install on an app. However I am wanting to then supress the app in a way the end user can not see the app but it is still on the device for the servers to see and verify the app is there and allow traffic into the system. Why I want to supress this is we would rather not have employees try to use their own personal devices. Now I know you can go the application list and see the app. However the number of people doing that will be far less than me leaving it in the open for all to see. Thanks Jason
Hello, I try to lock the screen of my Zebra TC52 in landscape mode via script. Does anyone know if that's possible? Currently I'm using this script: writesecuresetting -sys accelerometer_rotation 0 It disables the autoscreen rotation, but it locks in portrait mode. I need it in landscape mode. Device is a Zebra TC52 with Android 10 Enterprise, Agent 14.5.3 Thanks for your help!
Hi, is it possible to use maintenance windows with Zebra Lifeguard OTA? I've tride setting a window with the "Managed Google Play" config and with the "System Update Policy" configuration. But no luck, the firmware upgrades starts immediately. I would prefer scheduling and doing the upgrades at night. Using v.15.3 on Zebra Tc52 devices with 8.1.0.
Hi, I'm using SOTI cloud server v14.4.9 with Samsung Xcover4s devices enrolled with Android Enterprise agent (14.5.3.1017) and which are on Android 10 version. I tried to push an apk through application catalog / "Enterprise Applications" type but it seems like the apk isn't transmitted to devices. If I check logs of devices I can see the line below: Device is missing mandatory application As I set the application as mandatory I should get the apk on SOTI agent menu of the device under "Application catalog" menu but nothing appears. I tested to install manually the same apk directly on the device with usb cable and it works. This is the first time I try to push an apk through "Enterprise application", when the apk is available on PlayStore I used to go through "Managed Google Play" and then the apk are pushed correctly. Could someone help me with this issue? Thanks

Hello there We have the following situation: There are several Android 8.1 Devices which we want to update to Android 9. These devices are working in Kioskmode and are using the Phone App. As the Bundle ID of the phone App is not the same in Android 8.1 as in Android 9, the updated devices can't access the phone app anymore and we have to move the device manually in the desired group. Is there any possibility to automate this process throug device relocation rules? My hope is somehow autofill a custom attribute when the device is updatet to Android 9. Is there any chance to do this? Thank you and best Regards Beni
