I see that to exit lockdown mode, one has to enter an Administration password that is created via an Authentication profile, presumably set up on the dashboard. How customizable is this password generation? Specifically, can we set it via REST and SSL, or is it only via the dashboard?

Morning all. i have enrolled several devices using afw#mobicontrol which has worked fine. devices are honeywell EDA71 tablets using android 8.1. i did not realise that enrolling devices in this way removes loads of the pre installed applications. after some frantic searching on google and the forums i found i was able to send the device a script to reenable some of these apps. the one in question for me is the camera. i am sending this script enable_system_app org.codeaurora.snapcam however this has only worked on approximately 70% of the devices. is there any reason why this script does not always work? thanks Daryl
When we try to access out internal site, we received this warning error "There's a problem with this website security certificate. Proceed anyway" We have a certificate that we can install to fix this error If we access the link to the certificate manually, from the device, we could download the certificate and install it My problem now is, I need to deploy this to multiple devices, so I need this done via a profile or a script I did assigned a profile to keep the certificate in the SD card and tried to import it, but it did not installed properly The script i use to run them is as below, but none of them seems to work certimport -cert "/sdcard/xxxx" -ctype cert certimport -cert "/sdcard/xxx" -ctype certificate_type -itype "install_type" certimport -cert "/sdcard/xxx" -ctype certificate_type -itype "install_type" -storage "storage_type" Certificate is a chain, private root CA and private TLS CA certificate The manual installation will put the certificate here in this location Settings > Security > Trusted Credentials > User When I used the certimport script, it will move my cert from the SD card, but I dont know where it went And the warning will still be there, and the certificate are not in the desired place. Any advise on how I can have these certificate install automatically? Thank you
This afternoon I loaded the latest Settings Manager (15.0.0 build 14) as it now supports Android 10 and 11. However, when I attempt to do anything in the app it tells me that I need MobiControl agent 14.4.7 or higher to use this feature. Okay, sure. I check my version of the agent and I'm at 14.5.0 build 1011 so I should be okay. Ideas? Anyone else seeing this?
Hi! With the latest AE agent 14.4.7 we often (not always!) receive the following error message when trying to assign Managed Google Play account to our devices: Error message received from device (Managed Google Play Account Status:'EXCEPTION_ADDING_ACCOUNT javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Chain contains SHA1 algorithm which is deprecated') Sometimes after waiting several minutes (multiple retries), the account can be created. Has anybody experienced this problem aswell? The problem does not occur with agent version 14.4.6. Edit: Same problem with Agent 14.5.0.

As in the release notes stated here there should be a macro availaible for oem version: In other release notes there are many more macros referenced to but none of them are listed in the documentation: https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v15.3/en/console/other/macros.html?hl=macros
Issue: currently most devices connected to server 1. 5000+ only about 400 devices connect to server 2. I try to configure deployment server pirority for a child folder which has about 200 devices. try to force them connect to server 2 only - override settings Inherited from parent group "xxxx" I have set the child folder override setting from parents, and set server 1 priority = 2 and server 2 priority = 1. But after apply the settings, still no luck, devices rebooted but still connect to server 1.
